“Excellent Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2013

This hotel is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. From the moment we stepped inside , the friendliness of the staff was the stand-out pleasure for me. I commend the training the staff have being given, for customer care. Every area we attended, lovely friendly greetings and service from everyone! The room we were given was huge, and so comfortable. Beautiful views . Food was excellent too. I'm a vegetarian, and I was catered for beautifully. Vegetable stir fries and curries . We requested a quiet room, and there was a wedding on that day, but we did not hear a sound during the night! We went on the Over 50's deal and it was excellent value for money. The area was just lovely, the beach just a short walk down the road, canoeing and surfing..and swimming. Lovely little coffee shop a short walk too.. Highly recommend this hotel .

We arrived to the hotel and were so surprised at the size of our room, anyone with kids will appreciate how much the extra space makes! The food in both the bar & restaurant were so good, I got the curry chicken and was just so amazing! The waitress that night, Sinead was so friendly and great with the kids.
The gem was the KIDS club! The girls working there were so nice and my little boy actually kicked up leaving both nights!
We visited the local aqua centre which was so fantastic for my 3 yr old, the staff were really lovely and they even minded our phones behind the counter for us. The playground is brill which has crazy golf beside it, which is great. We really enjoyed our stay and we can't thank the Kids club staff enough for making our dinner in the restaurant so quiet!... (",) The kids menu is also really good in the hotel, they offer a range of sizes from mini to large and really healthy options like spag bolognaise which is a nice change from sausage and chips!
Ciara, Dan and Daniel!

Room Tip: We were in 512 in the hotel which was huge with a huge bed, really helpful when our 3 year old '...

Just home from staying 3 nights in diamond coast hotel and from the minute we arrived we had an amazing time. Unbelievable value for money from the accommodation to the food which was amazing(try the beef), the kids room is heaven sent and our 3 year old boy didn't want to leave it at any stage. The ladies there gave us great assurance knowing he would be looked after well. All staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful. We also had the coast roast dinner which fed 9 children for 20euro...... Amazing value for money which was the same in the main menu also. So much to do around enniscrone also for chdren from playgrounds to the beach all within 2 min from hotel. Also got to play the most amazing Golf course on Tuesday morning which is a 2 min walk from hotel. Amazing scenery and a real challenge. Really well worth a trip to the diamond coast hotel and to enniscrone. Thanks so much for a great few days. Danny, Ciara and Daniel.

Attended a wedding here August 2012, its really a lovely hotel, the rooms are spacious as is the hotel. It has a huge foyer plenty of room for a large wedding. The staff were friendly, the food was really good. The wedding was brilliant. I would return again to stay longer. The scenery was beautiful. all in all a good hotel. I know I ticked Sept 2012 because the option list did not allow me to click August 2012, but it was the bank holiday August 2012 that I stayed there.

Room Tip: as it was a family wedding and I was taking the photos I was in most of the rooms, they are all spac...

Recently attended a family function at the Diamond Coast.
Staff were excellent, food excellent but bar prices were a bit on the high side for a rural location.
Keep up the good work but try to reduce the bar costs.

We recently stayed here with the family for 3 nights. Lovely clean modern hotel with large bedrooms and fab food. Nice friendly staff too. Great kids club to amuse the kids in the evening too. Only a short walk into the town and beach, but in my opinion food in this hotel was much better than other options in the town! The negatives - there is no fridge in any of the bedrooms which is a loss, as we had no facilities to keep drinks cool throughout our 3 night stay. There is no swimming pool in the hotel which is a big disappointment considering the hotel itself is quite big and to have the facility of a pool in the hotel would be a major benefit ( there is a pool in Enniscrone but its not the same as having one in the hotel)

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at the Diamond Coast Hotel with our 2 children. Granny and Grandad joined us too and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very family friendly, huge rooms, excellent kids club and friendly staff. The hotel is ideally located close to the village and beach, all within easy walking distance. The food was very good too. We will definitely return and will tell all our friends!
