“Very relaxing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2014

We had a midweek stay here for one night. Excellent service from everyone. The staff on reception were so friendly.

We were upgraded to a very large room overlooking the sea. Rooms were modern and well equipped. There is no fridge but for a short stay, that wasn't a problem. It was so quiet & the the beds were one of the most comfortable I have slept in.

We walked into Malahide which took around an hour along the sea front. It's a lovely walk and well worth it as Malahide is a gorgeous little town to look around with a fantastic selection of restaurants.

We ate in the hotel and thought the standard of meal was excellent. We finished off our evening with a drink in the Jameson bar in the hotel. It's a very cosy and welcoming bar.

Breakfast was in our package and there was a very good choice and the cappuccino was fabulous!

We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again - very clean, welcoming and comfortable.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view.

I've only just checked in but already we know it will be a great stay. Our check was seem less. We were served by Rachel, who couldn't have been more helpful and went out of her way to check in the other members of our family.

We have stayed her a few times before, and this place never disappoints. I'm sure this time will be no different.

My stay was made extra special by the wonderful service provided by Rachel on reception. Such warmth and helpfulness was highly appreciated. Indeed all staff were excellent. I was extremely fortunate to be given the room with the roof terrace balcony and the views from here are breathtaking. I shall definitely return to make my third trip to this hotel.

We stayed 1 night at this lovely hotel before going to the airport. Very comfortable room, delicious breakfast-fresh fruit salad was refreshing and the croissants were as good as any French ones.
Much more relaxing and quiet to stay beside the sea than in a hotel right next to the airport.Malahide castle is worth a visit as is the small pretty town of Malahide.

A beautifully situated hotel. Spectacular views from the lounge over the bay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and, a nice touch, have a door knocker! We ate breakfast in the restaurant which was tasty, hot and with a good selection of dishes. Service was speedy and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back again.

We stayed here two weeks before Chistmas on a Pigsback special deal. A much needed night away on our own. The hotel is beautiful the staff very very friendly and efficent. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which looked out on the golf course. The room was beautiful. We had bar food that evening and the staff in the bar could not have been nicer. There were Carol singers in the foyer which gave a lovely Christmas feel to the evening. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and again served with a smile. We will definitely go back again.

Have stayed here twice now. Both times a very enjoyable stay. Service excellent and food in restaurant very good. They were doing a special of 2 course meal plus bottle if wine for 45 euros fir 2 which was great value. Not too far from dart station to get to Dublin - around a 15 min walk. Would highly recommend
