“A Star in the making”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

What a great meal from start to finish.Amuse Bouche was fantastic 5 little treats. Starter Clogher crab claws, fresh crab & red pepper mousse light as a feather. Main rump of lamb with goats cheese. The waiting staff are so friendly without being intrusive. Very talented chef with a bright future

“Fantastic communion lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

Just had lunch there after daughters communion. We had 11 adults and 5 kids. From the outset when we were booking Mary was fantastic. We were able to change the menu in advance. The mussels here are amazing and once again did not let us down. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the meal. The whole time was really relaxing and I would highly recommend it.

“Nice but bloody expensive!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2014

Had muscles there and side of garlic bread. And those three slices of garlic bread, toasted with garlic butter, that's all, was charged for almost 6 euro! When I said it to the waiter, all I was told that they will pass on my complaint to the owner... Hope the owner pays the staff very well for that...

“Deserves recognition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

A very talented team who offer fabulous food, beautifully thought through and spectacular presentation. I wasn't expecting anything of this very high standard and it came as a very nice surprise. This is a chef who is worthy of Masterchef/Michelin star recognition. The contrasts of texture, temperature and tastes signify a high level of skill and very creatively presented. Good value. Didn't try wines as it was Sunday lunch but will definitely go back soon for a dinner experience and looking forward to it. Only down side is that there are a lot of stairs - didn't see a lift nor did I ask. Lovely service and great views from the bay window overlooking the estuary. Deserves higher ranking than #6 in Malahide!

“Can't wait to return”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014

The food was fabulous and the presentation of the dishes were absolutely wonderful. The tomato soup was the best I've had in Ireland and the sea bass was perfectly prepared and the presentation of the dish was lovely. Next time in Malahide, I'm coming back!!
