went there for my husbands 50th and it was perfect, the staff really made the occasion special for our family, lunch was lovely though we thought the menu was a little limited in comparison with the evening menu. we all went for a walk in the grounds, perfect sunny day!!

Had a fabulous day for our wedding here last June (2013) at Longueville House. We had a small wedding party of 40 guests. We dined in the conservatory and had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic meal. The atmoshere in Longueville was very homely and the staff were very attentive. All guests were very impressed by the food, service and interior of the house. I personally would highly reccommend Longueville House for small intimate gatherings where service and comfort are paramount. Overall a very special place which I look forward to visiting again in the near future!

Beautiful building surrounded by farmland in North Cork ,we had been here 25 years ago and were delighted to find that it continues to offer a lovely overall experience. We had a great room overlooking the front with a view down to the Blackwater river,The public rooms are a treat with a big fire in the drawing room creating a warm welcoming atmosphere. The dinning room extends into a big conservatory and oil paintings of each Irish president hang on the walls, and there are a number of nicely spaced linen covered tables of different sizes .The food uses a lot of local produce from salmon to game and was very nicely presented and served slightly more finesse in the cooking would really bring out the quality of the raw materials.

Just writing to recount the amazing day we had in Longueville House Mallow on the special occasion of our daughter's First Holy Communion. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Aisling the proprietor and to say that our needs weren't catered for is an understatement. The photographer took some lovely photos in the lounge and outside on the grounds. There is something old worldly about Longueville that you really feel you are somewhere special and for this reason it sets it apart from other places we had considered when choosing a venue. The meal was of 5 star quality and the presentation really impressed our guests. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It really was a special day for a special girl and we have great memories of the 11th May 2013 that will last forever. Thank you all in Longueville House and best wishes for 2014. ·

good friendly staff, beautiful house, good atmosphere and food was good but nothing exceptional, I was expecting a bit more considering the price and the fabulous reviews i read about Longueville house, the food is fresh and home grown but it was nothing really brilliant, there was little choice and the vegetables all tasted the same, starters were very good though and the snacks in the drawing room were delightful but the deserts were only average

Had lunch here yesterday Thursday on a very cold day only 2C outside.
The dining room was super cosy & the service we received was top class, lunch was lovey .
Their own cider was very nice, must return to try dinner.

This is a lovely, large, country-house hotel. I dread to think what it costs to keep it heated, but on a cold weekend, it was very cosy! Our room had a wonderful view over the surrounding fields and the walled garden was a treat to explore. I don't like to criticise - especially in difficult times when these sorts of places need all the business they can generate. That Longueville has diversified and does lots of things is to be commended. However, I did not like the food. The dinner was "OK". The breakfast buffet was fabulous and that's what I should have had. The bacon I did have was so salty that it was inedible (it was also fried in oil that still had a hint of fish in it). The coffee was excellent but the two meals were enough to dissuade me from eating anything but the cold buffet should I return.
