We stayed here as a sort of central base so we could explore Cobh and Cashel for awhile. Midleton ended up being a very nice, vibrant little town with a market on Saturdays that just saturates the air with the smell of fresh bread and smoked meats. If you go, please don't forget the hot chocolate! It's incredible!
The room was large, clean, and ensuite, which was much appreciated. There was wifi in the common areas that we could use. The breakfast Maria had out in the morning was a selection of nice cold meats, fresh bread, tea, yogurt, and a variety of fruits and cheeses. Good enough to fill you up until well into the afternoon.
The owners, Frank and Maria, were incredibly inviting and hospitable. They gave us advice on where to go and what routes to take to get there. We had a little problem with the heat in the room and the shower being cold, but Frank and Maria fixed it in no time! They apologized profusely and quickly resolved any issue we had.
We were truly sad to leave Midleton, we had a blast at the Maple Bar and just looking around all the little shops there. This was our favorite place to stay, hands down.
