after a quit long drive all the way from Kinvarra we arrived in the hotel around 6:00pm.
Although the receptionist was involved in a rather difficult conversation she managed it to check us in and to give us the key to the room. Once arrived in the room we was planning to refresh ourselves before sitting down for dinner. This however due to the water being shut was not possible. A call to the receptionist learned us that she was not really aware what was going on.
the manager however told us that there was some plumbing works going on but he managed to have the water supply restored. once the water supply restored the water kept flowing in the toilet.
Once more a call to the receptionist and the friendly manager came to tell us that we could have another room.
The new room was clean as well but the furniture was rather used. Not something one should expect for €99 a night.
Location in the centre of Midleton close to the distillery is a plus.
Staff at reception as well in restaurant was helpful and friendlyMore
