“Loved every minute”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

When we arrived there was a tour starting so we did not have to wait. Our tour guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. I loved every minute of the tour. It was very interesting. The icing on the cake was the tasting at the end. I would highly recommend this.

“Fun and informative”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

Tour was very informative on the whiskey making process... it was very cool! Guides seem very knowledgeable. Could have stayed in the bar and gift shop all day. Free Jameson at the end (try the Jameson and Ginger!)

“Tuesday at the Distillery”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

I never knew that Jamesons was triple distilled, but Rich was one of the 6 tasters at the end of the tour and was able to taste the smoothness that a triple distilled beverage can have. The tour was well done and we loved the well preserved historical buildings as well as the buildings that are still being used. Excellent tour.

“Awesome food, drink, entertainment, education, history, etc etc etc”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We were a group of Canadians at the Jameson Experience in Ireland during a conference at the end of May 2014. It was a fantastic venue for a social night out and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. The first stop was a reception in the welcome lobby and gift shop. We were greeted at the door by a waiter with a tray of Jameson Whiskey with ginger ale (Canada Dry, no less) and lime. (This has since become a favourite drink at home.) The drinks were accompanied by the most delicious hot hors d'oeuvres served by friendly wait staff!.
Then, we filed into a small theatre to watch a short and entertaining film about the history of Jameson Whiskey. From there we entered the 'whiskey-tasting room' where we were educated about the differences between different types of whiskey, including the difference between Irish whiskey and scotch. The next event was a tour of the historic Jameson whiskey factory, with our highly entertaining tour guide, Collette. So charming and sweet! Finally, we were led into the banquet hall in one of the old stone buildings. What a beautiful setting! And the food was absolutely fabulous! An authentic Irish meat and potatoes and root vegetable medley followed by the best dessert I have ever had! During the meal, we were entertained by a talented bunch of Irish musicians and dancers. All in all, a very lovely evening which I would highly recommend to anyone planning a group event!
