Worth a visit, however the so called venacular cottage adjoining the fort is not a good depiction of a cottage from that period. The door is located at the gable end (the original versions did not) and not much research went into its reconstruction. Please open up the fort as an amenity soon, it is sadly missed in an area with minimal visitor attractions.

This restored ring fort is no longer being run as a public attraction, however, if you can locate it, you can access it. If you can then access some information about the ring fort on a mobile phone or before you go, it's a fascinating exhibition and a great shame it's not still open.
