We recently had a two night stay at this hotel, attending a friends wedding and the first thing that stands out on arrival is the setting, overlooking the ocean, with a sandy beach and rocky area to explore. It is set in a rural location and remains extremely quiet throughout.
The hotel is clean and elequent, with a homely feel throughout. A quick check in and we went off to our room, 104, which was spacious, an extremely comfortable bed and more importantly clean. The view from the patio door was that of the sea stretching for miles. The room had everything you would expect apart from tea making facilities, which really weren't necessary.
There were three bars, two near to reception and one in the function room, where service is second to none. Friendly and personable, you rarely have to wait. The only gripe I would have is that the price of drinks and food is quite steep, although the T-Bone steak is definitely worth trying.
The venue itself was perfect for a wedding, the ceremony was fantastic, with the dinner setting very professional in appearance and the food of a very good standard.
The staff are all very friendly, this place is definitely worth visiting and although pricey, you certainly get what you pay for.More
