We recently spent two of the best nights here. Like most of the other reviewers say this hotel has it all .From the moment we walked in the staff at reception made us feel so special ,especially Margaret who upgraded us to the Presidential suite and wow what a view we had .The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was stunning with free L'Occitane toiletries .We had tasty steaks at a good price in the cosy bar on the first night before getting a taxi into town (12 euro) .
We had a great night in DeBarras music bar .The next morning after one of the most delicious breakfasts ever we had a lovely walk on the nearby Inchydoney Beach well worth a visit .Stay here you will not regret it .

Room Tip: stunning views of the sea from rooms in front of hotel.

Just returned to Belfast from a holiday in West Cork and felt I had to share with you the experience of staying at the Dunmore House Hotel near Clonakilty, the hotel location on the edge of the south west coast was to die for and the friendly management and staff plus the wholesome food served made it a terrific holiday destination when in the west Cork area. It appeared very popular with weddings and my wife and I were most impressed with the wedding reception layout for a wedding on the day of our arrival. To conclude our stay was a most unexpected treat to celebrate our own 40th wedding anniversary.

Room Tip: Please request a room with a magnificent sea view if possible

This hotel is a real find. I attended a wedding there in July and spent three lovely nights there. The hotel rooms were lovely, simple and elegant (highly recommend a room with a sea view). The hotel itself is a tranquil spot, plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the spectacular views. The staff were lovely, the wedding was just perfect and the meal was beautifully prepared, with generous helpings. Nice to see it has the president's approval too! Highly recommend it, don't forget to check out the small beach 1km up the road.

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding here and I found the staff very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The setting is amazing - really good food - clean etc etc., and would have no hesitation on recommending this hotel to friends.

Room Tip: I have forgotten what room number I was in but had a lovely view and very quiet.

Fantastic location, excellent friendly staff, wonderful food, great rooms. Have not been to a better hotel! Absolute must. Located in south-west Cork, a fantastic 'get away from it all' location. Perfect peace and quiet, also with golf, beaches etc.

Room Tip: Just ask! Friendly staff will do their best to meet your room requirements. Ocean view brilliant!
