Kinsale is such a small little town that it is easy to check out all the menus before you decide on where to go, and we were delighted with our choice. The monkfish main course with a hint of lemon and ginger was excellent as was the main course scampi dish. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere although it is perhaps just a little bit too dark on the inside of the restaurant we were lucky to get a table close to the window. Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely a must visit in Kinsale. Fantastic food (best chips I've had in years) and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Jim Edwards was recommended to us by a shop keeper, and we had a wonderful lunch. The highlight was the fish stew, which was incredible! I tried it in about 5 different places in Ireland during the trip and this was the best. Casual but nice pub atmosphere.

It wasn't that bad, but other restaurants were so much better. It was pricey and not worth the money, I strongly recommend you skip this average restaurant in this foodie town with better options within several blocks.

Arrived in Kinsale late so options were limited. Maybe lends to why we were not impressed with this restaurant. Our food was very average - but...other family came later and said it was their best meal in Ireland.
