We ate two meals here when in Kinsale a couple of weeks ago. First night a pizza that was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, but not flaky and falling apart. If only we could find someone at home who made crust like that. The pizza was flavorful and filling enough for two to split for a light supper. Service was a bit slow, but it was good enough for us to return for lunch a couple of days later. I had the seafood chowder, filled with fish and flavor. We had a chance to speak with the owner, Colette, mostly about traditional Irish sayings and the evolution of the restaurant. The restaurant was busy with seating indoors and out, a mix of tourists and locals (it appeared). The atmosphere was casual and provided a look at the waterfront. Nice place for a casual meal, food selection was good and flavors carried through. And..... thanks for the Irish quote!
