Recently stayed at the Perryville Hotel in Kinsale what a joy. Andrew and his wife are amazingly hospitable creating an ambiance of warmth, fun and excellent customer service. All rooms were beautifully furnished (we had 6 in total) although some bathrooms were a little small they were adequate but all rooms were large with additional seating and some had sea views. The breakfast was sublime with locally sourced produce, try the home made muesli for example followed by a cooked breakfast fabulous to start the day. Andrew arranged the collections and returns to the airport also recommending good local restaurants. Would not hesitate to go back and stay again.

Room Tip: A huge triple is available for a family stay.

We had the family room on the top floor. A little climb, but the space was worth the effort. Excellent beds and bedding and good lighting. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer! This was our favorite hotel in Ireland. The living rooms were very inviting and as you sank into the down filled couches, you might actually have thoughts of sitting there all day by the fire. The dining room was lovely as were the breakfast options, especially the locally made yogurt in glass jars. The service was excellent and it was a pleasure to meet Andrew. Next time I go to Ireland I might just stay there for the entire visit! A must while you're there is the walking tour with Barry.

Room Tip: Choose room with a view of the harbor.

Our stay at Perryville House could not have been better. Originally booked for one night, we extended for a second because it was so lovely. Andrew and Laura and their staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, and Andrew has a keen sense of humor. The room itself was wonderful - incredibly comfortable AND with great plumbing. The breakfasts were similarly outstanding - all fresh ingredients: home-made jams, honey from their own bees, perfect baked goods and locally sourced high quality eggs, meats, and dairy. The home-made muesli with local natural yoghurt was addictive. After trying their afternoon tea, we regretted we hadn't had it the day before. Terrific location across from the harbor, and an easy walk to everywhere. And Andrew parked our rental car for us, so we didn’t have to hassle with Kinsale driving or parking, which can be intimidating to the uninitiated, that is, us.

We found Perryville by accident...we passed by and simply went in and asked if they had any space.....and what a find,it is a beautiful property set in the perfect harbour side location.
The hotel is tastefully decorated with antiques and art ,the lounges are sumptuous and welcoming with apparently no expense spared.

The bedrooms are large with big bathrooms ..the ones at front have harbour views and the rear bedrooms look into the courtyard. Breakfasts are wonderful...fresh products from local suppliers....excellent warm happy staff, the best way to start the day...

We enjoyed our two night stay so much we returned a week later .....

We cannot compliment this property enough and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Laura and Andrew are very hands on and their attention to detail can only be admired.....they are both so welcoming ....Andrew is a big man with a big character....his g and ts are the same !

Room Tip: Ask for a harbour facing room.....

This was a lovely hotel in the heart of Kinsale and overlooking the charming harbor. Service was top notch and the welcoming interiors and laid back feel really made for a pleasant stay. The morning breakfast is top notch with a great choice of buffet and made-to-order items. Everything is farm fresh. Rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities and the lovely courtyards add to the charm. The only downside is parking as you're competing with visitors who are coming to downtown and other shops. Just find a spot nearby and hotel staff will move the chains in front of reserved parking for you, but would have been nice to have known that little trick in advance during a bank holiday weekend.

We stayed here for our anniversary, and we could not have been happier. Andrew was so kind and welcoming. The room on the 3rd floor overlooking the harbor was so comfortable. He made reservations for dinner for us a month in advance, and the breakfast in the inn was lovely.

From the moment you meet Andrew you are at home in this magnificent Georgian home full of antique furniture and interesting paintings and prints. Even though this was Kinsale sevens this Perryville was a haven from the street frenzy. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy, water hot; and it didn't matter if you arrived home at 2pm or 2am the welcome was always friendly.

Room Tip: Kinsale is not short of bars so don't be disappointed they don't have one
