“Nice hotel and great breakfast included”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

Great location in the middle of town where you can walk to everything. Rooms are a bit older but very clean and they are renovating. Bathrooms are new and very clean. Breakfast included in price. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: No elevator

Looks really nice on the inside, but outside is falling apart. My room had water pouring all night from the broken gutters, that had more plants in than my garden! The room looked out over the tin patched roof.
Inside, newly painted. The staff couldn't do more, the food was great. But given the poor nights sleep, overall won't be staying again.

We stayed for two nights in May. It is located in the middle of historical district, short walking distance from most attractions, restaurants, bars, and bus station.
Clean well appointed rooms, hair drier was in the room, they provided a plug adapter for US plugs.
Great "continental" breakfast (in my book, yogurt, lox, various cold cuts and cheeses add up to much more than continental breakfast) and several types of omelet for full breakfast (try eggs Florentine) We were happy with our stay.

Room Tip: Our room looked at the street, but it was not noisy in the evening.

Our family from Cork drive down and eat here regularly and I can see why.....there was four of us all requiring our own little variations on the menu which was no problem to the staff or the kitchen we all had different dishes which were very tasty and satisfying....the portions are generous and the desserts are to die for....if your in the Kinsale area I would highly recommend eating here...you can park just outside and walk around the harbour after dinner.....very nice location......

We stayed one night at the hotel. The location was very good, centrally located in Kinsale, but the hotel itself felt a little dated. No hair dryer in the room, so we were glad we had our own. The breakfast was fine. Parking near the hotel was an issue, but we managed to find street parking, which worked till 10:30 the following morning. Mostly suffers in comparison to the truly warm and friendly places we'd stayed at, but worked out as a one night stay.

Visit with family who visit regularly to dine at the hotel...great location in Kinsale near the sea front, managed to find parking space outside on what was a busy Sunday night.
We had made a reservation and had a very nice table in the section of the restaurant cleverly modelled to resemble the inside of a ships cabin...place has a good vibe coupled with friendly attentive service.
Excellent menu and opted for the fish & chips which was really good, crisp batter, fresh cod, chunky chips and a very good portion of mushy peas.
Finished off the meal with very good desserts and coffee...well recommended...

3 of us were having dinner on Wednesday nite in March. Atmosphere in restaurant was really nice, that time of year the town during a week was quiet but this place had live music on. I ve ordered a fish pie which was just ok ( to much mash potato) but the other two really enjoyed their dish (thai curry and fish). At the end my gourmet friend ordered french cognac liqueur for aperitif (which I ve never heard about before) and the waiting staff either, but she did very good job to find out if they have it or not...:)
