The Old Bank House is a well established, quality venue serving breakfast, lunch, morning teas & afternoon teas. It is part of the long established & excellent Blue Haven Group.

Serving delicious home made food & home bakes, The Old Bank House has a lovely ambience with friendly & attentive staff; a good choice of teas & coffee & a lovely leisurely pace that encourages the customer to stay & chat ......& order more drinks and / or more food or cake.

I was greatly encouraged to see so many true Kinsale locals eating & drinking here.

A very pleasant dining experience in the very heart of Kinsale.

2 nights in Kinsale on a golf trip. Hotel is right in center of town. Rooms are clean but a bit small. Breakfast is not to be missed at this hotel---best of our trip. Homemade yogurt and fruit to die for,,,eggs cooked perfectly. Walking distance to at least 10 pubs or restruants.

Room Tip: don't miss breakfast at hotel.

This is a quaint hotel with comfy but not over spacious rooms. Time seemed to stand still here which created just the mood we were looking for. The hotel is in an ideal location -- a close walk to the town center. Kinsale is a picturesque village. The breakfast was hearty and filling.

The most comfortable bed we had slept in during our trip to Ireland! But more importantly the breakfast was fabulous and the service was great too!
Kinsale was a really pretty place, great pubs and lots to see, really enjoyed it, should have stayed another night

Here is a small, quaint hotel in an old building on the main street of town. Forget using you GPS to locate this hotel, just open your eyes and look for the sign. This town doesn’t believe in obviously numbering their buildings nor do they have obvious street signs, but the village AND the hotel are worth visiting. From the Old Bank hotel one can easily walk to any attraction in the village (churches, bars, restaurants, shopping), and you’ll experience jumping back in time by 100 years! Rooms are modestly decorated with large windows looking over the town. Windows open. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is clean, and there is a lift if you’re not in the mood for taking the stairs. WiFi was strong, even on the 3d floor. There is a coffee/bakery shop on the ground floor, and that’s where you go to meet the person who will register you. If you arrive during off hours, there is signage at the locked door as to where register (down the block—but easy to find). Friendly staff cook and serve your breakfast to order. I loved this place and would recommend it if you like the small-hotel appeal.

our happy but tired group of 4 motorcyclists arrived a little late, but to a very warm welcome and brilliant accommodation. Unique rooms with quirky furnishings. Comfy bed, great views amazing breakfast. They even took our food order by email whilst we were 4hrs away on the ferry to Ireland from UK. A gem. A real gem.

Room Tip: I had a room on the front. Lovely views.

We were fortunate to be given an excellent room overlooking the street. Very comfortable, clean and great bed. Breakfast was the best we had in Ireland. The deli store at the front of the restaurant had all the local products at a very reasonable price. Would recommend this accommodation and restaurant.
