“Great B&B”
Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

This was a great B&B in Kinsale. We had off street parking and free breakfast. The breakfast was great as well as the tea and scones they served around midday. We had a large suite with a balcony looking out over the harbor. It was very cute and cozy. The location was great too!

Cons - dragging your bags up the stairs and through the dining room.

This is a great boutique type hotel. Convenient to town with restaurants and shopping. Our room was a nice size with a large bathroom. Car park is tight but we had no trouble. The breakfast was the best we had in our entire Ireland trip. Well worth staying if just to eat. Wi Fi was very good as well. We would stay again.

This was one of our favorite places to stay during our three week trip through Ireland. The family that runs the inn are extremely friendly and helpful. When checking in, the daughter spent quite a bit of time providing us with tips on pubs and restaurants that turned out to be spot on. When checking out, the mother also spent quite a bit of time showing us great driving and scenic options during our journey to our next destination.

We had a garden view room on the top floor with stunning views of the city and honestly one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The real show stopper here though is their breakfasts! Holy cow! I've stayed at well over 100 B&B's and inns in my lifetime and this was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. The bacon and Cashel blue cheese omelet was stunning but so was everything else including fresh squeezed juices, amazing home made organic coconut granola, home made white chocolate and orange scones, and several kinds of unbelievably good home made compotes. They also have a nice automatic espresso machine so you can choose what type drink you want any time of day.

Unfortunately we only had two nights here but I intend to return and we will be staying for longer so I can enjoy more of their fabulous breakfasts, the fabulous nights rest, and the wonderful restaurants in Kinsale.

Our stay here with another couple for 2 June nights in the suite was just right. The sitting room allowed us to have a place to join each other in comfort, yet private. Philip's breakfasts were delicious. Noreen and other staff were very accommodating. The central location to town was ideal. The web info that one room of the suite is better due to location is true. We had the window open one night as the temp was unusually warm, and we did hear a number of revelers on way home from watching the World Cup on Saturday night. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Kinsale.

The Old Presbytery definitely had the most comfortable bed we slept on during our 2 1/2 stay in Ireland, and wow, the seafood fritatta in the morning was sooo good! Kinsale is a great little town, and at this b&b, you are right in the heart of it. It's the perfect spot, as we opted to skip Cork and come straight to Kinsale. Loved the afternoon coffee and scones they provided!

Had a great stay in the old presbytery. We had a Lovely attic room with great views of Kinsale. Breakfast was very good, the best I've had in a b&b. The staff were friendly and attentive and the b&b has a good central location. Highly recommended.
