We picked this place because of Trip Advisor and were NOT disappointed - we sat at the bar (how the chefs maintain their energy is beyond me) and enjoyed the wine, the conversations with both patrons and staff and the food was excellent!

We've just been here and had a great experience. We had a minor inconvenience with our booking (not their fault) and they went well out their way to make up for it. The food was legendary and the wine was spot on, very busy for good reason so make sure you book!

Visited here recently...just lovely staff, lovely atmosphere...main course was outstandingly tasty, if a little small by portion (we irish like a portion on the larger side of course!"),,,lovely interior.
I would frequent such establishments on a regular basis...but unfortunately, I can't say I will be a returning heree customer due to the price for a main.....;-(...suggestion....main course priced at around €13- €15 max....not €20.

The food was delicious, the wine list huge and such a nice ambience. It was full when we arrived but we had no reservation so didn't mind being seated in the little garden out back. Sheepskin rugs and blankets if needed.
A must go venue in Kinsale!

Just loved this restaurant! The menu is interesting and the food top quality. The flavours linger! We shared substantial platters very fairly priced at €13 and loved the fact we could sample different wines, all glasses priced at one fifth of a full priced bottle. This is certainly a customer- oriented concept. The counter seating is great as we could see the teamwork of the staff who were all so pleasant. Will be back!
