This was one of the best bed and breakfast we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Ireland. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We even had a little table and 2 chairs; and the view was incredible. We enjoyed a great breakfast each morning and the hosts were pleasant and accommodating.

Room Tip: Get a room looking out of the front of the house if you can as you'll look all the way to the oc...

Professional grade accommodations. New floors, carpets, facilities, and quality linens. Our view of the bay was photo worthy; tremendous. They produce a breakfast menu with excellent options and the soda bread and preserves are home made. Their eye towards detail results in simply tremendous experience.

We stayed at Woodlands house for only one night but wished we had stayed longer. The house is beautiful, our room was decorated so nicely and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts very warm and calm and welcoming. The view from the house of the harbor is lovely and it is a short downhill walk into town. We would love to return to Kinsale and stay at Woodlands again!

We spent two nights with our wonderful hosts at Woodlands house. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served efficiently. There was a large lounge for guests where we got to watch the World Cup on a large TV. Valerie and Brian were very helpful with suggestions and directions. We would stay there again.

My family and I stayed in Woodlands on 22/6/2014 for one night and wished we could have stayed for longer. Met by Valerie who was so welcoming and helpful and offered us tea on arrival. Big spacious clean rooms with comfortable beds, very quiet which meant we had a great nights sleep after our day in Kinsale. The breakfast was exceptional, served by Valerie and her husband. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and Woodlands is up there with the best of them.

House and grounds were gorgeous. Located about half mile outside town, a perfect location. Rooms were clean, large and the hostess was super. Breakfast was very good. I would suggest everyone stay there. Easy to find, and easy to get to town.

Room Tip: All rooms were great because it is located in a nice, quiet area.

Valerie and Brian were excellent hosts, welcoming, helpful, professional and fun! They gave good suggestions for eating and touring. They have a gorgeous home and the rooms are spotless. The sitting room is wonderful for nightcapping after a day about. Breakfasts in the bright, beautiful dining room were delicious. Woodlands is in a quiet neighbourhood about a 5 minute walk downhill to shops and pubs. We had such a great time we stayed an extra night!

Room Tip: We stayed in a larger room, I think #6, overlooking the harbour. Gorgeous...
