“If I won the lottery can I live here?”
Reviewed 9 September 2005

Words cannot express the quality of this B&B.

During my trip to Ireland I stayed at three B&B's. all of which were the same price. If I can explain it, it was like spending 2 nights in grot then walking into luxury.

This B&B is fantastic. When looking for places to stay, I spend ages pouring over reviews, this was one B&B that was by far the most luxurious I have ever been in. In fact it wasnt like a B&B more an upmarket country house.

The owners were very friendly and warming, breakfast wondeful. This B&B has no expense spared, porcelain door handles, Brabantia toilet brushes, stripped real wood floors, landscaped gardens. The beds were no cheap market, solid wood, high quality mattresses.

The decor was wonderful, information laid out for guests on the area.

Please if you are going to Kinsale and you like a touch of class, please book here. I dont think 40 Euro pppn will be the price next year!

enjoy

Wonderful hotel - great rooms, grounds, food and service. We were here for one night and would have like to stay longer. It's not the way we think of a B&B, rather a hotel but it was very nice. There was some entertainment we didn't observe but heard it was nice. Also, there is some interesting history about the facility.

Probably the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Much better than anonimous hotels. The rooms are spotless, very well decorated and brand new, all ensuite with very nice bathrooms. The Hosts are very friendly and they prepare a fantastic breakfast. The position is not exactly central (10-15mn walk), but it is a nice walk back in the evening after all the fantastic dinners we had there in Kinsale.
I can't recommend it enough.
