Thanks to a friend's recommendation we visited this place. The atmophere of an old boatshouse with a fireplace and kind of vintage furniture was very cozy and inviteing for a nice evening. The waitress was nice and helpful at all times. The food was just amazing. We can recommend the set menu price for 39,50€. The variety of the menu was quiet good and the quality was just great. Tea was included in the set menu price. Worth to visit and one of the best irish restaurants we've ever visited.
We recommend to book a table.

At least the Man Friday is open 24/7 which is unusual for Kinsale & never fails to deliver every time ... The chef Daniel is so suberb that one would dream about his dishes! ...the owners Joss & Philip are always there which adds to the fantastic service here ... Great food , great service , great atmosphere , great staff & the perfect view of Kinsale!
A definite 10/ 10 !

Couldn't fault food or service. Went on New Years Eve with my husband and 2 young children. We both had mussels to start which were excellent. We both had steak for our main course. Each were cooked to perfection. Veg and potatoes were excellent and large portions. Kids menu was pretty limited but that was fine as they both had chicken goujons. Service was excellent. Will def return and will look forward to it. Both ate from early bird menu which was excellent value.

My husband ,son and I went for the early bird menu but instead I pegged for the dinner menu for €38 for a 3 course,(early bird is €26).As you stepped into the restaurant you got a lovely warm cosy feeling, the upper section was busy with groups when we arrived when lent a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive and service was very efficient,
The food was Excellent, the Lamb cutlets were divine and cooked to perfection,Man Fridays has a great reputation as a seafood restaurant and both my husband and sea were very pleased with their dishes,Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like a great meal in a warm cosy atmosphere,

Had super meal here on a busy Saturday night in December.
Our service and comfort were first class even though the kitchens must have been hectic pre Xmas.

Our table had a view of a full moon shining on the Estuary. Downstairs a very noisy party was in full swing. We were glad to be removed from them.

Our food from the Set Menu (€38) was terrific. The Early Bird at €10 less, was limited.
My crab gratin was so tasty, a fillet steak correctly cooked plus side salad & garlic potatoes. Followed by creme brûlée & coffee.
Lovely evening. Well done Man Friday Staff.
