“Family Wedding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

We attended a family wedding Saturday 31 May. We had a lovely time. The hotel staff were so efficient, friendly and helpful. The staff catering at the wedding reception were so professional and looked so well in their crisp white outfits we were impressed. The breakfast was substantial and again staff so friendly and had time for a chat. It was so relaxing we definitely will be back. Well done, keep up the high standards and Thanks again..

I stayed here for a wedding for one night, the food and service for the wedding was excellent, but the rooms needs a update. I stayed in a room with a view of there back yard and was woke up to a staff member emptying the bottle skips at 10am on Sunday morning when I called down to reception they said they would look into it and the noise stopped for one hour. The housekeeping manager offered to change my room later that day but I opted to leave one day early. Overall I don't think I would return for another stay. Carrick-on-Shannon is a beautiful town.
I did not use the leisure centre but it did look very impressive huge swimming with a large selection of gym equipment

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a quiet room facing the front of the hotel looking out on the river Shannon

We had an overnight stay at the Landmark while visiting the local area. Warm, friendly greeting on check in from Rachael at reception. Rooms were comfortable, spotless and spacious. Excellent breakfast. Great value. Adequate parking and very conveniently located to town. Would definitely recommend the Landmark.

Booked the bed and breakfast rate, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was served in a wonderfully decorated restaurant, waitresses were friendly and efficient, food was terrific. A very relaxing stay in Ireland, despite the rain!

Lovely location made better with good weather. Great food and very friendly staff from checking in to checking out . Room was geared up for disabled and we booked executive so that was a little disappointing , at least we had a river view. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

Stayed here over a bank holiday weekend as part of a large group of girls. Upon arrival parking was very easy to get & Check in was very fast and efficient. The rooms were spacious and clean with the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. We ate in the hotel on both mornings for breakfast and had dinner on both evenings in the Boardwalk cafe, which is the pub/restaurant in the hotel. The food was very good, everything was cooked to perfection and very good value and we weren't left waiting long despite being in a large group. The staff in the hotel are all extremely friendly, well mannered and will do what ever they can to help. A special mention to Anthony the young bar man who was working the residents bar when we returned from a night out (a little worse for wear). He was fantastic and very patient! Would recommend this hotel to a friend, fantastic view of the Shannon also. One massive minus point is the crowd that frequent the attached nightclub,it may have just been the weekend that was in it but things got a little out of hand on both nights but the staff in the hotel made sure that none of them gained any access to the hotel which was very good.

Room Tip: I was on the second floor - didn't hear any noise from the nightclub

Great location in a charming town. A very warm welcome, lovely room, if a bit noisy on the main road - could benefit from double sets of double glazing here.
Good food in the restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner and live Irish music in the evening (Sunday).
Reasonable price. Recommend.
