“Without a doubt, the best restaurant in carrick!”

The courtyard kitchen is the perfect place to eat whether you want a light bite or a special treat!
Out of all the places I've dined at in carrick on Shannon, the courtyard kitchen never fails to impress and please with their beautiful menu.
Today I had the salmon in wasabi crust starter which I've had before... UNBELIEVABLE!
I also had the sea bass as a main... Fresh and beautifully cooked. I have nothing to fault!
Service is fantastic also!
Thankyou for so many gorgeous dining experiences!

“Good service, lovely food - try the Lamb shank”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Had a lovely meal with family there. We shared some wings and potato skins to start and had a mix of steaks and the lamb shank as mains. All was good but the lamb shank was really excellent - meat falling off the bone and just the right level of crispness on the outside.

Staff were great also. Will be back.

“Lovely food, good wine, great service. ”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

We were on the last night of our week long boating holiday and fancied some nice comfort food. Chose this place from TA recommendations. We weren't disappointed. Seated straight away. Moved some tables together to accommodate us (2 adults, 3 teenage kids). Waitress was very pleasant and helpful. We each had 3 courses from the early bird menu. Star of the show was the desserts. Fab! Good Irish home cooking is how I would describe it. 5 × 3 course meals, 1 soft drink, 1 wine and 3 pints of beer, a very reasonable €130.

“Great place, good food, lovely staff, excellent value”
Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

Was there for a bite last night. Was hoping for faster service as we were en route to Donegal, I knocked off 1 point because of this. That said, we were not really in a rush, and had we been there for a special occasion would have happily tolerated the delay. Food very good, noodles cooked just right and v tasty, though lacked a bit in vegetable. Partner's steak was reported v good, cooked just right also. We had apple rhubarb crumble for dessert, outstanding with v good vanilla ice cream. Excellent coffee. Fab glass of Languedoc sauv blanc and pint of milk form the other half. All that for €40! Great value, we would recommend it, but don't be in a rush.
