Great atmosphere! The food was outstanding. The four of us each had a different meal and no one was disappointed. The tuna and Brie melt was the best.

Am not sure where anyone found smokers near this establishment. No smokling inside and in more than a week in town we never, ever encountered any problems with this wonderful establishment. This place is clean with no hint or dust, dirt or mess whatsoever, which is validated in our many pictures.

Pat Collins Bar is what one thinks of as an Irish Pub. Wonderful, friendly owner and staff, great beer, a welcoming atmosphere and the best food we had in Ireland. The owner, Michael, is as helpful and friendly as can be, and can be seen as completely involved in the operation of his business.

The food in this pub was the best that we had anywhere in Ireland and we returned repeatedly due to the food and service. We ate elsewhere in town, but all others paled in comparison. Prices are more than reasonable, with other establishments in town more than twice what we paid at Pat Collins.

Best food to try: Fish and chips (big enough for two people!), Irish stew, Bacon (actually ham) and cabbage, Caesar salad, burgers, and the best tuna and brie ever.

We can find only positive to say about this establishment and people who go out of their way to make sure that the food is exceptional and the atmosphere is welcoming and wonderful. This is the #1 place that we will tell our friends to visit, as it surpassed every other that we went to.

Thanks for the wonderful visit Michael and crew - you made our trip!

The 4 of us went to Pat Collins for dinner the first night we arrived at Adare.
We felt like we were home. The waiters and waitress are very friendly and helpful.
Dinner was about 25 to 30 e for 2 and enough food to share or take back to your room.
We tried another pub in Adare and the food was just ok, but the staff was very nice.
The Irish stew was wonderful, the burgers are great.
My husband has celiacs so he could have the burger no bun and the bacon and cabbage their bacon our ham.
The beer was great and does not taste like it does in the states. We came back every nite even after long drives to eat at Pat Collins
Enjoy

Stopped off at this lovely pub in Adare on a Sunday for lunch while passing through. there was a hurling game on the TV. The quality of the food was superb, my wife had the Beef Baguette while i had the Home made Burger. you would go a long way to find Bar food as good and this was clearly evident by the fact that there was so many people in there that there was no free seats available.Service was fast, efficient and not in your face which is what i like. we have eaten in the pub next door in the past but we will definitely be returning to Pat Collins as it isnt a patch on this place.i met the owner Mike while paying - a very friendly guy and explained all about the history of the village to me which was quite interesting. A very informed historian on your doorstep Adare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
