“Great B&B, Great Location”
Reviewed 3 August 2011

We stayed here one night on our way to Kerry. The B&B was very well maintained and presented. We were offered tea and coffee on arrival by the Patricia the owner. She was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. There was free wifi too. I recommend the full Irish breakfast, very tasty!! The B&B was a minutes walk to the main street and nearest pub. Adare is a beautiful village and we'll be back to visit aspen house again soon.

Stayed one night on the way down to Kerry. The B&B was easy to find - just off the main road - and it was a short walk to the pubs/restaurants in Adare village. The room was clean and comfortable and Pat the owner made us feel very welcome & gave us plenty of recommendations for our onward travels. Breakfast was excellent. We would certainly come back if we are in Adare again.

We just stayed here for 1 night and enjoyed every minute. The place was absolutely beautiful and the owner Patricia was terrific. The breakfast was truly wonderful and the room was spotless. It certainly made our trip to Adare a memorable experience. I would highly recommend the Aspen House to anyone visiting this lovely village.

Just returned from a weeks touring of Ireland. One place we stayed at was the Aspen B & B in Adare. We had not booked but had no trouble in obtaining a double room on the ground floor. The hosts Richard and Marion were very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and the location to Adare was just perfect - a short stroll.
I would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting Adare.

We came across Adare after we decided not to stay in Limerick, and so glad we did. It's a lovely village. Aspen House was chosen from a list supplied by the tourist center and was one of the best places we stayed in during our trip. It was walking distance to the local area and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were offered tea and biscuts on arrival in their lounge area and made to feel very welcome and almost like family, even though we had no booking. We had a down stairs room with a very comfortable kingsize bed, adequate bathroom and everything was very clean. WiFi worked well from our room. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. The only cons were that the kingsize bed while very comfortable didn't leave a lot of room and the creaking floor from the room above was disturbing(though to be fair we found this a problem with a lot of B&B's we styaed in) I would recommend Aspen House as a great place to stay.

We chose Aspen House in Adare instead of staying in Limerick. It was a last minute decision and we were very pleased. We needed proximity to Bunratty Castle, where we were attending a traditional music and dance banquet. The Bunratty castle is only about a 15 minute drive from Adare. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival to Aspen House by the owner. We had to leave just minutes later for Bunratty. The house is very clean and the living room area is very comfortable. There, we were able to access WiFi. Breakfast was the full Irish and very good. I was most impressed with how warm and friendly the owners were to us. They walked us out to our car when we were leaving and were very interested in our trip. I would recommend Aspen House as it is a clean and well managed B&B in a great location. The friendly and hard working owners add its great reputation!

The Aspen is a nice place, convenient to everything in Adare. Priscella was more than helpful with any needs, and went above and beyond what I expected. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The shower had lots of hot water and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: we could hear the people in the next room talking.
During the night someone in the neighboring room went into the bathroom and we could hear the exhaust fan running in there .
The WiFi signal did not reach upstairs so had to use the sitting room.
While this was the only place that had curtains that would keep out the light (sun came up around 5AM and set around 10PM), there was a glass transom over the door and a skylight in the hall, so we still ended up having the light wake us early in the morning.

In spite of the Cons, it is still a great place to stay and as I said before, the location is terrific. It is off the main road, but just two minutes walk to the Heritage center/visitors' center.
