“Aspen House Adare”
Reviewed 4 July 2012

I stayed at Aspen House and would easily recommend this delightful B & B to anyone who wishes to visit this beautiful part of Ireland. Aspen House is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and the attention given to guests by Patricia and Richard is excellent. The breakfast is devine and tea, coffee and biscuits were provided on my arrival. The house is situated in close proximity to main street and their local knowledge is very helpful. A great break was had by all. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Adare.

We stayed at Aspen House for 3 days in September 2011. The accomodation was excellent & i really enjoyed the full irish breakfast. Patricia & Richard were very welcoming & offered tea/coffee on arrival. They gave us an overview of the local wining & dining spots in the village.
My ancestors came from the area & Richard helped me with tracing some family connections
Adare is a great place to visit & especially if you chose to stay at Aspen House

Aspen House is located just a five minute walk from the main shopping / strolling / historic area of the lovely town of Adare. The B&B is a bit small and cramped, but the rooms are comfortable and the owners very friendly. The breakfast was ample and very good.

The only upsetting incident was that a few in our group (including me!) did not have hot water for our morning showers. The owner was quite perplexed, claiming the house had a very large hot water heater. Later that morning she informed us that there apparently was a power outage during the night that somehow affected the hot water heater.

5 minutes walking distance from the main street, Aspen House is a good place to stay. Rooms are bright and very clean, breakfast is more than enough to keep you going all day! And WiFi is available.

We stayed here one night on our way to Kerry. The B&B was very well maintained and presented. We were offered tea and coffee on arrival by the Patricia the owner. She was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. There was free wifi too. I recommend the full Irish breakfast, very tasty!! The B&B was a minutes walk to the main street and nearest pub. Adare is a beautiful village and we'll be back to visit aspen house again soon.

Stayed one night on the way down to Kerry. The B&B was easy to find - just off the main road - and it was a short walk to the pubs/restaurants in Adare village. The room was clean and comfortable and Pat the owner made us feel very welcome & gave us plenty of recommendations for our onward travels. Breakfast was excellent. We would certainly come back if we are in Adare again.
