We stayed in the Villa's at Adare Manor for six nights. Our Villa had 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, sun porch, office and patio. We had so much room we loved it, we could cook breakfast, lunch & dinner if we wanted. The grounds were lovely, golf course hiking trails and gardens, not to mention the Manor Hotel. We ate breakfast in the restaurant in the club house 4 mornings and it was fabulous. The town of Adare was walking distance and had many nice shops and pubs. The town has a lot to offer and is centrally located so you can visit many other areas in a few hours. We would highly recommend staying at the Adare Manor or Villa's if you plan on traveling to Ireland. For us the Villa's were perfect, we loved all the room, we felt like we were living in Adare for a week.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with more than two and want to be able to cook some meals I would recommend the Villa's.

We very much enjoyed our two nights at the Adare Manor Castle and took advantage of their Eight Course Tasting Room Package, which proved to be a wonderful three-hour meal on our last night in Ireland. It made for the perfect ending to our trip. Most all of the very large staff with whom we dealt were warm, personable and helpful.

After a hiccup with our first room in the historic wing, Sarah (the guest manager) moved us to room 402, a huge room at the top of four flights of stairs (there are no elevators in the old wing) with truly majestic views of the stunning gardens and river. Guests are pampered with every amenity. This is hostelry at its finest. The included breakfasts were elegant and delicious, and the public areas (lobby, bar and restaurant) were abundant in old world charm and history. This impressive property truly is a gem and completely worth the splurge.

Room Tip: The original wing rooms are the real deal, very old but authentic. There are no elevators in the old wing. The rooms in the new wing are easily accessible, very large as well (at least one of ours was) but newer and not old world authentic.

I stayed in Adare Manor at the end of November for a Thanks Giving Weekend....and boy was I thankful Its very rare to get this standard of hotel in Ireland and makes me very proud to be Irish. From the time we arrived to the time time we left, we were treated like royalty. The boys found the golf course breath taking and the girls had a glorious time with the spa treatments. The other highlight was the dinner in the Oak Room Restaurant. I cant remember the last time I spent 3 hours having dinner. The staff were incredible, the rooms luxurious and the food was out of this world. Yes its expensive but it was worth every single penny. So much so, that we have already booked again for this year.

Room Tip: If you are there at the end of November then you must visit the old creamery where the place is transformed into winder wonderland of Christmas joy. I would also recommend to try and stay in the manor.

Dear Demo33,

What a wonderful review, thank you so very much, we are delighted that you enjoyed your "Thanksgiving" experience with us, we love to make this a special time for our guests.

Thank you for complimenting the incredible staff, the luxurious rooms and the "out of this world" food...

I also note you mentioned the "Old Creamery" in Adare, we are also huge fans of this wonderful little haven of all things nice.... they are also the suppliers of the home made fudge we place on your pillows in the evenings as a little bed time treat... we choose them because of the incredible quality and the fact that they are local, which is always a plus for us.... I will make sure they know of your review and recommendations...

I look forward to meeting you on your return trip next Thanksgiving !!!

In the meantime, wishing you and your family a Wonderful New Year !!

Kindest regards

Sarah

We spent a weekend here before the kids returned to school in September. It was a retreat for all the family. No need for the car as everything is on site. It was a weekend of a lifetime, living like a Lord of the manor. The highlights for the family over the weekend, falconry on the estate was unbelievable, a must for young or old. My youngest who is only 8 Years, was a little scared of the idea. But liam the falconer, did a super job. Huge selection of birds of prey. A must if you are staying at the manor.
Last but not least ,a guided tour of the manor house with their concierges is a must, we had Pat Mason, he was very informative, funny & the kids loved him.
Many thanks to all the staff for making this weekend special.

Room Tip: River view of the river maigue is really nice

we recently stayed at the adare manor villas. the grounds are exquisitely kept and magnificent, with rushing streams, towering trees, and lush green paths. there are over 800 acres to explore. the villa itself had all the comforts of home, and more, they even had american plugs! our family split four bathrooms, and three bedrooms, a laundry area, fireplace, full kitchen, sun room, study, and a living room. the town of adare, which has shopping, pubs and a nice centra, is a short walk away. the manor has a lovely historic tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and a proper tea afterward. there are also several restaurants at adare manor. they offer falconry and archery, and golf---of course. we loved the green countryside, and excellent location- from which we took day trips to limerick, cork and blarney. i will come back as soon as i can to this slice of heaven on earth.
