We spent 3 lovely nights in Adare Manor instead of a short trip abroad this May .It was a really lovely experience. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the hotel and grounds and loved little details like the hand tied flowers in teacups dotted around the rooms for afternoon tea. We shared a lovely room overlooking the river and golf course and had 3 wonderful nights sleep. I loved the feel of the bed linen. Breakfast was a highlight and we worked our way through the menu. I adored the eggs benedict and my sister is still talking about the yoghurt with fruit. Staff especially Maura were wonderful and even gave us more coffee in takeaway cups one morning so we could sit in the sun outside. We wanted a table by the window and on our third morning the gentleman (Stephen I think) pointed us to the table we had wanted all week.

Our only minor issue was lack of tea/coffee making services in our room. After a couple of days you really do want to make a cup yourself before bed or whatever without having to order it.

Adrare is a fab village and we worked our way through the cafes/retaurants. We loved the wild geese, the good room and were dropped down to collins bar fro delicious bar food one night by the extremely lovely concierge.

Excellent review for old world charm where you are called ma'am and treated so personaly. Not the ideal spot for someone wanting to paint the town red but perfect for our needs at the time. Well done adare

Much delayed review. I've stayed at the Adare Manor a few times now, and although it's usually a bit out if the way as far as where we typically stay(Killarney), it's location near Shannon airport makes it a prime location for our last nights in the ROI. From the beautiful grounds, to its historic charm, it is truly a unique and worthwhile experience. While, compared to most of Western Ireland, this is a bit more "touristy", it in no way detracts from the Irish hospitality of the employees. Even my relatives who reside in Ireland agree that Adare Manor is well worth the stay. Put it on your to do list. Fly into Dublin, make your way down to Cork, have a quick stop in Dingle to see the peninsula and the Ring of Kerry, and end your trip with a stay at Adare Manor followed by a departure out of Shannon. You won't regret it. Éirinn go brách!

This is a lovely castle with beautiful grounds. Have added villas not attached, but near the castle. Wonderful stop for lunch if you don't stay here. Make sure you visit the pub in the basement of the castle!

I won this trip on the Price is Right and went to Adair Manor with my mom. It was a beautiful castle and the town is so pretty. We stayed on the top floors with beautiful views. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Villas were very spacious, clean and centrally located. I would recommend them. My only disappointment was the manager asked if we wanted a "private" tour. We wanted to see The Ring of Kerry. The driver was pleasant and entertaining-however we were not taken to many of the highlights or other areas as promised. the tour guide did not have much knowledge. The tour was very expensive. I would recommend using a Tour Company. I would return to the Villa's but not book a private tour.

Room Tip: Use the Villa's and try the breakfast at the Golf club

We recently stayed at the Adare Manor for 5 nights, and it was absolutely wonderful. The Manor is about 15-20 minutes outside of Limerick in the town of Adare. It was nice not to be right in the city, but outside a little bit. It was still a really easy drive to get into the city if we wanted, but the little town of Adare is so quaint and we found it to have mostly everything we needed.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Just driving through it was nice. Some in our party played 9 holes of golf and said the course was amazing. Just as a side note, we stayed in the Villas as opposed to the Manor, both of which are very nice. Our villa had three good sized bedrooms and four bathrooms, complete with full kitchen, living area, and laundry room. Everything was very nice an spacious. Literally it looked like a model home it was in such great condition. Check in time at the villas is at 4 but we arrived a bit early. It wasn't a problem at all. Albert, who was a huge help during our entire stay, got us checked in right away, which was nice after travelling for so long.

I honestly have no complaints whatsoever. The staff and property were flawless. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone in the area.
