“AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!”
Reviewed 13 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Our stay at this charming restored 300 year old farmhouse could not have been more enjoyable. It is a step back in time, carefully recreated with love and warmth.
But that is only the beginning. Gary,0ur host was outstanding! From the time we arrived he greeted us at the door, realized we had not planned well to cook in the morning and actually brought us groceries! The house is perfectly situated for day trips to so many things we wanted to see, Bunratty, the Cliffs of Mohr, the Ring of Kerry, Dingle.....On the third day I wanted to see more and drive less and I enlisted Gary to drive us. Best decision I could have made. His rates were fair, and he was a relaxing pleasure to be with. We lunched together and had many laughs over a pint or 2 of Guiness. If you really want to relax and enjoy the sights,
Spend some time with Gary. Although we may not see each again, we all feel we have a friend in Ireland. Thank you Gary, for everything!

“A Hidden Gem!”
Reviewed 9 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

What an amazing cottage and a hidden gem. You will find this beautiful cottage down a lovely country lane, which is in a peaceful location. However you are not too far from the N21 so a great location and travelling base to visit the fantastic sites of the West Coast of Ireland. Don't forget a visit to the nearby village of Adare. We were here for a family visit and cannot believe that we have never come across this cottage before. Gary has thought of everything for the cottage and it is very well equipped with everything you will need. Gary was soo friendly and helpful with anything extra we needed - he was always pleased to just have a chat. Gary explained all the history to the cottage which is amazing and you can really feel how special this place is! We will definitely visit again and have told all our friends and family about our great time at Court Cottage!

“Lovely Stay at Courtmatrix!”
Reviewed 30 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Our group of five had a terrific stay at Courtmatrix. Our host, Gary was welcoming, informative and a great companion on our trips. We hired him as a driver and it could not have worked out any better for us. The house was charming and comfortable. Gary and his wife did a wonderful job restoring it with great attention to historic detail. We would highly recommend this property!

“Quaint traditional farmhouse! Great central location!”
Reviewed 29 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Great location for daily tour of Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Folk Park, Killarney, Dingle and Kerry. Nice peat fire to enjoy in the evening, and Adare is nearby for trad music at night.

“Old world charm with modern conveniences”
Reviewed 10 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Owner was very helpful and friendly, providing the allergy friendly bedding was greatly appreciated. The cottage was well laid out and in a beautiful location. If you plan to make meals for more than four people the pots are small. The quiet pastoral setting was peaceful but close to tourist attractions and amenities (groceries, petrol, pubs). If we ever travel to Ireland again we definitely would stay again.

My wife and I and two friends stayed eight days at Court Cottage for our visit to Ireland and and couldn't have chosen a better place. Court Cottage is a restored 18th century cottage which retains its old world charm with all of the modern conveniences added. When you stay at Court Cottage you feel you have gone back in time with the rustic decor and rural surroundings. And it is located perfectly near the some of the best that Ireland has to offer, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the Dingle, the Ring of Kerry, Lough Gur, and the pubs of Adare with traditional Irish music every evening. Gary and his wife are excellent hosts and eager to help you with all of your needs. Court Cottage is spotless and supplied with all of the amenities. If you enjoy the history of Ireland, Court Cottage is the ideal place!

“Beautiful and Comfortable Cottage”
Reviewed 2 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

You know you have arrived in Ireland when you get here - great location to stay in and feel the essence of the country. Centrally located with everything you need to travel to most of the great places and cities to see. Rathkeale and Adare are quaint villages and have everything you need with places to eat and shop. The cottage is clean and wonderfully decorated - Gary was so friendly and great with information. Sleeping has never been so peaceful.
