I was in Adare over the August bank holiday for a friends wedding, and booked in to the Coatesland House for the 3 nights.

I have to say, it was a beautiful, clean , comfortable and well equipped B&B, and very reasonable.
More importantly (I felt) however, was how well both I , and my friends who stayed there were treated. The landlady Florence and her husband Donal did everything to make us feel at home, and the women working there could not have done more to make our stay .

The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so accommodating at all times.

To top it all off there was Winnie (the dog) who kept me entertained for the weekend.

What a fantastic place to stay, I'd recommend it to anyone.

From the minute we arrived we were greated with warmth and great frendship from Winnie (the dog) and of course Donald & Florence. What wonderful people. We stayed for four night and were made to feel like part of the family. Breakfast was great plenty of options to choose from.Florence would always have a chat and give us a good insight/history to the village Adare. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were here for a family wedding in adare.
I would recommend Coatsland B&B for your first choice to stay in Adare. Florence you are one very special lady & thank you for looking after us (especialy mum & dad) Audrey, Jim & Phyllis

EXCELLENT B&B! Donal and Florence are wonderful, our room was clean and neat, wi-fi strong everywhere, breakfast great. Their attention to detail here is real treat to experience. When we came back from a day out, they saw we had a bottle of soda in our room and brought up a mini-fridge to our room and put our soda in it so it would be nice and cold for us. Is that great, or what? We had a delightful chat with Florence after breakfast and we learned a lot about the area and its history. We would come back again and again - no question! Ray and Donna

Florence's attention to detail is amazing!! So many nice little touches! We could only stay one night, wish it was longer! She gave excellent recommendations for dinner and music, and it was an easy walk into to town. Breakfast was excellent and so many options. A must stay!!

What a wonderful find for a B&B in Adare. From our first warm greeting from the proprietor, Florence, and her wonderful dog Winnie, we knew that we had found the perfect base for our exploration of the sites around Adare. The rooms were very clean, homey, and comfortable. In our short stay, we felt that we were treated like family by Florence and her husband Donal.

The B&B is located a short walk from the main part of Adare. The breakfast room is large and comfortable and the food excellent.

We were definitely charmed by our hostess and her love of dogs and horses. Her recommendations for lunch and an evening meal were excellent. All people we ran into in Adare seemed to know and like Florence.

The Coatesland House should be on the top of anyone's list for a Bed and Breakfast in Adare. It is excellent because of the care shown by Florence, a very special lady.

Had no reservation for our last night in Ireland. We were flying out of Shannon airport and were coming from Blarney. The first B&B we saw in Adare was Coatesland. The vacancy light was on and we drove in. We got lucky, there was a room.
Our hostess and Winnie the dog met us at the door with a warm welcome. Our room was on the back of the house with a beautiful view of gardens, a fountain and fields. Plenty of hot water for showers and there was a water cooler outside our door for fresh cool water. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and super clean. There was even fresh fruit and candy on the bureau.

Breakfast was outstanding. Everything anyone could ask for was available. I had oatmeal with local honey, scrambled eggs (3 choices were offered), sausages, potato cake, ham and mushrooms that had been cooked in butter.

The dining room is located in a large sunroom on the back of the house--a great place to start the day! There was a variety of other foods offered, but I could not eat another thing. My coffee cup was filled at all times.
I feel like we were so fortunate to have found Coatesland. If we ever return to Ireland, Coatesland will be a definite destination.

Room Tip: Take time to talk with the owners---real Irish hospitality.

The Hogan's are amazing people, let's get that out of the way early. We had planned to stay in Limerick, but after driving through, preferred the smaller town of Adare, which was a great small place to stay. We got there a little after 8PM, and were greeted by Donal and their dog Winnie!!! My wife and I love dogs and were going through some withdrawals as we missed our guys!

Room was spectacular, comfy and VERY clean. Florence sat down with us for breakfast with Morine and we chatted for almost an hour before heading out for the day. After getting our dog fix in one last time, we got moving. If you are near Limerick, STAY here!!
