We spent two weeks in Ireland, staying in B & B's throughout the country. Wandesforde House was absolutely the best! It is beautiful and clean. We sat in the garden and relaxed in the gorgeous sun room, and at the end of the day we fell asleep in the most comfy bed ever! Anna and Michael are delightful and kind, treating their guests like family. If you are taking a vacation in Ireland, you should definitely plan to stay at Wandesforde House. You won't be disappointed.

Delightful house delightful breakfast but most of all delightful people. We stayed for two nights as we played golf in the area. Everything was perfect ,our hosts Michael and Anne could not have been more welcoming even dropping us off in town in rha evening when we we went to the pubs.Highly recommended.

A lovely B&B. The hosts were very accommodating especially given that we arrived un-announced late at night, they were incredibly friendly; the breakfast was fantastic as well. We would definately stay there again.

I first stayed at the delightful Wandesforde House, Moneenroe, County Kilkenny Ireland in the summer of 2000. I was attending the Brennan Family Reunion in nearby Castlecomer and I was looking for a nice place near the old family home in Moneeroe. I fell in love with Anna McDonald and her wonderful family. The home is beautifully restored from the school it once was and so convenient to everything in the area and surrounding counties. From polished wood floors and homey fireplace burning nightly to lovely gardens and her homemade granola, everything is just a delight. This hidden jewel should not be missed if you are visiting the area.
