We ate here numerous times during our trip to Clifden, and the fact that we came back indicates that we were satisfied customers. I loved the pizza - on a thinnish crust, so it wasn't too heavy.
The decor was a real treat, and spoke to the restaurant's heritage as a railway station. Do yourself a favor and check out all the posters on the wall... they're both instructive and charming.
For me, though, I have to admit that the highlight was dessert - I had chocolate fudge cake each time we went. I'm usually a pretty nice spouse, sharing and all that - but my husband didn't get a single bite! Yup, it's that good.
The location is nice, too - in the middle of a cluster of stores and a museum, and just a block or two away from our B&B (the Dun Ri).
