Seven of us enjoyed six different meals served swiftly & courteously by the sole member of staff who was also manning the bar & cooking. Absolutely splendid views from the first floor café above Clifden Boat Club.

An unexpected but brilliant discovery. :-)

Highly recommended.

Down past the quay at the sailing pier, Boardwalk is a 15 minute walk from town or 5 minute ride by car, well worth the trip. The chef/owners use only fresh, local products and from fish to pizza the food is amazing and wonderful--such a surprise, arriving from that tiny kitchen. Small but good selection of beer and wine. The restaurant overlooks the water--sailing classes during the day and sunset at night. We happened upon it, a group of hikers with children, and came right back the next evening. It's a fine stop for lunch or snack on a walk along the coast or a destination for dinner.

We went for a walk and found this by accident. There was a crowd of young kids there who had just finished a sailing lessons. They were lively but very well behaved - all eating a delicious chilli and rice! Great atmosphere and lovely fresh coffee and cake

Visited here after getting to Clifden & decided I wanted to explore the coast. A great little cafe (at the sailing club) with atmosphere & great views with really friendly staff. Well worth a visit out of town, albeit a short trek along the coast.

So picturesque and very fast service! A chance to stop in a little hidden spot in the middle of nowhere! Found it by accident but will definitely be back!
