You can do like a three hour round walk. Really beautiful. Its exactly what you imagine when you are looking for a peaceful place to escape from it all. The views are astonishing.

“Damaged but its coming back.”
Reviewed 1 June 2014 via mobile

Sadly, this beach like many others in the area was damaged in the winter storms. They ARE working hard to bring it back and fortify it with large boulders. Other beaches in the area had huge crowds of locals show up at volunteer parties to clean alot of the damaged areas. It hasn't happened here, sadly.

The playground is still, months on, not repaired. But there is plenty of space for kids to run around.

The sand is better than it was 2 months ago so nature is helping to rebuild.

“A place you should visit!”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Rossbeigh strand is just beatiful - especially if one has luck with the weather. Locals usually go out running when it's low tide. If you want to walk out to the end it is sometimes needed to step into the water about 3 kms from the beginning of the strand. The playground is also nice if you have small children - what when low tide it is much better to bring a bucket and digger :)
What is worth seeing: the difference between high and low tide!

Recently stayed in Glenbeigh, very close to rossbeigh. The walk along the beach is divine, even in the autumnal winds.

“Rossbeigh”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

Rossbeigh - Is in my opinion the best beach in the world. It is the loveliest place to sit and while the time away, it is peaceful relaxing and just fantastic I love walking down the strand in sunshine or pouring rain and hoping to see the " Sunbeam boat " is a treat .
