What fabulous food to be enjoyed here. Well worth visiting. Very busy but worth the wait to get seated. You must enjoy fish/seafood.

My wife and I ate a delicious dinner at O’Neills on our first night in Cahersiveen. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I had the Hake and it was amazing. My wife had the Salmon and it was also very good and a huge portion. The Guinness was tasty and my wife had the Irish Coffee which she proclaimed as the Best in Ireland and she tried them at every place we stopped.
Delicious Hake What a view from the Point. The day we dined , before going to Valentia Island we stopped off at the point and we both had delicious hake. The service was in line with the name to the point. If you want no nonsense good quality food here is the place to go
If you like great seafood this is the place to stop. A variety of fresh caught seafood is on their menu every day. Our group of four tried a variety of menu selections-Crab Claws, Fresh Crabmeat Au Gratin, Prawns and Seafood Chowder. All were excellent. Most, if not all seafood was locally caught and was very fresh. Service was first rate. The restaurant is very popular with locals and travelers who know about it-it would be a good idea to call and make a reservation before arriving. It is located just off the western end of the Ring of Kerry, at Reenard Point (where the ferry to Valentia Island is located). Highly recommended.
Great food, really wholesome food, definitely worth stopping for, even the Guinness was lovely, couldn’t complain about the place at all.
