Visited on 24th December for a spot of Christmas Eve lunch whilst over from Glasgow to visit family nearby. There were 7 of us and we arrived without a reservation. We had to wait a short time and sat at the bar and had a drink. The staff were great and very helpful. We were shown to our table and again the staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was fantastic and the chef even came out to say hello to us. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

We visited the Ring Of Kerry Hotel for this year's Christmas dinner and had just a great time. Even though the restaurant was fully booked we enjoyed a perfect and personal service from the staff. And also the food was very good. In every course we received large portions and lots of side orders of vegetables, so no one left the place hungry. The dishes were also nicely presented and looked festive.

Our tour bus stopped here on our Ring of Kerry tour and we were all glad it did. Although the lunch menu was somewhat limited, all of the selections were wonderful and the service was about the best we had in Ireland. I ordered the bacon and cabbage and it was great. I learned that the Irish really don't have corned beef and cabbage but their bacon is more like ham. I had what I though were three scoops of mashed potatoes but actually two were mashed cauliflower and it was excellent. The portions were large and the prices were under $15 for the most expensive entree. The fish and chips were also quite good.

The interior is very modern and they also have a hotel there.

It looks like a very standard coach stopover but it was much nicer when we got inside. Very courteous service and most important good food. We returned during the holiday. Do go for the roast, looks a bit like a school dinner but tasted far better! Hubbie had the noodles one time and very much enjoyed it.
