“Great food and fantastic service”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Anthea and the team their are fantastic. She helped us out of a pickle and must say I was very proud to be Irish at that moment and my fiance was in awe of such wonderful Irish hospitality. The coffee shop is adorable and the food amazing. We'll definitely be back and have told all our friends that if they're in the area its a must! Thanks again, Una & Mike

“Just delicious!”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

It's a cute café with friendly staff and the best rhubarb crumble I've ever had! You'll find it directly at the main street, it's the red house!

“Brilliant cafe! Well worth calling in even if it's for a coffee!”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

This cafe is a gem of Valentina Island! We received the warmest of welcomes from the owner, her staff and her mother! On Saturday we both had the homemade burger with chips and it did not disappoint! It was delicious, you could taste the freshness in each bite! The owner told us about lots of different places to visit on the Island! On Sunday we had to call in again, this time it was fresh fish & chips for me; the fish was perfectly cooked in the lightest of batters and I wish I could have more! The other half had the ham, bacon and Brie sandwich which was also excellent and didn't last long! We shared a chocolate fudge cake, served with Valentina ice cream.... Yum yum yum yum!
The atmosphere was amazing with a great mix of locals and tourists having plenty of banter! If you have time to check out the bookshop next door and the beautiful tea gardens at the side of the building!

Everything about the cafe, from the staff to the beautiful decor, was fantastic! Make sure this is your number one stop for food and a chat, you will not be disappointed! We look forward greatly to coming back to visit again some day!

“Great food, warm Irish hospitality”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

Met the owner, a fellow-American, on the Ferry ride over to this small island on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Intrigued by her ex-pat choice to spend half the year here, we stopped for lunch. It's hard to miss - bright red paint, fresh flowers, buzzing with life. Seemed filled with locals who laughed and shared stories. It was one of the best lunches we had while in Ireland. Great chef.
The owner explained that there was something special about this island. We got a glimpse of that at Knights Town Coffee.
