What a lovely lady Marguerite is. We were given a lovely warm welcome with home made Madeira cake. The bungalow is in a lovely setting. Beautifully kept garden. Both Joe and Marguerite work hard to ensure that everything is right for you. Everything nice and clean, nice big bedroom with bathroom off. Marguerite was very helpful with best places to eat and best places for beautiful scenery etc. Lovely breakfast, with my partner enjoying a good cooked breakfast whilst I was able to sample the beautiful soda bread Marguerite makes. Lovely warm homely feeling about this B & B, somewhere you can really say, yes, we will definitely be back. Oh yes, thanks too to Marguerite for chasing after us with her car when we left our map in our bedroom. Would anyone else have bothered? I think not.

The B & B is in a lovely peaceful setting just a short ride into town.Yet, you will think that your somewhere
in the country .In addition to the warm welcome , Marguerite is very knowledgeable about the restaurants .
Because of her advice we ended up having the best meal in our entire time in Ireland .She is an outstanding cook herself .So , its all you would want from a B & B.

Stayed here as a couple in March - we were attending a wedding and Marguerite dropped us the short journey in to town so my hair wouldn't get messed up! Bedrooms were bright and clean and the bed was heaven to get in to after a long day. Have never had a breakfast quite like it - so much food with gorgeous homemade brown bread and a menu to rival any hotel, would highly recommend. So lovely to be warmly greeted, the most enjoyable of B&B stays.

We stayed at Marguerites B&B as a group of 4 whilst visiting friends in Skibbereen. The welcome was warm and the room clean and tidy. Nothing was to much trouble with Marguerite even giving us a lift in to Skibbereen one evening. The highlight for me was the breakfast, so much food! You will not go hungry staying here. Marguerite also crochets beautiful items of clothing for sale in the guest house.

Stayed in this B&b on st Stephens night and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The owner was so friendly and accomodating, even offered me a spin Into town! The rooms were spacious and warm, even had biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities! The breakfast was amazing. Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would Defiently return and would most Defiently recommend this B&b!! X

We stayed at Marguerites for one night with 2 young kids. We had the greatest breakfast in the morning which was served outside as the weather was beautiful. Quiet place, nice garden, we could not have been more pleased.

This was a quiet location after a busy day. The accommodations were ok. Missing a few details that we were used to from other B & Bs...matching linens, glass not styrofoam cups in the room, older furniture. It was ok but probably would not return.
