“A little piece of heaven :-)”
Reviewed 25 October 2012

This was our 4th trip to the cottages, our previous 3 visits were to Lassanroe Cottage which we thought was out of this world but this year we stayed in the Treehouse.....

The Treehouse was everything I imagined it to be and more.....beautiful, warm, cosy, surprisingly spacious and so romantic. The outside deck and hot tub were by far the highlight. We stayed for 2 nights which wasn't nearly enough so next year we will try stay for longer.

For anyone looking for a romantic few days away I strongly urge you to go to the Treehouse, it's an experience you won't forget :-)

Myself and my wife heard about Grove house from friends. We stayed in Cottage courtyard 1 with the hot tub on the balcony. It was fantastic. We didn't need to leave to enjoy our evening meal, there are several take away menus who deliver. We didn't have a plan as to what to do during the day but it didn't matter as there is plenty of information in the cottage with a must do list and we just stuck to that.
It was so quite in the farm compared to hotels. We would go back again and would certenl recment it to anyone looking for something different.

We had two nights in the tree house, which exceeded every single expectation we had. Every single need was catered for, & Peter and Anne have done an incredible job. The tree house itself is extremely luxurious, & the attention to detail is of the highest standard.

We arrived with full intentions of nice long country walks, & sampling the local cuisine etc...but once we arrived at the tree house, all plans went out the window...time in the tree house is simply too precious to waste by not being in it :)

The tree house is fully catered for, from wi-fi, sky tv, dvd player, magazines, tea&coffee, milk in the fridge, all the kitchen essentials you would need, champagne on arrival and thats before we even get to the hot tub. OH the hot tub. Sitting in a hot tub under the stars on a cold September night, we never felt more pampered. No hotel could even come close to this. The privacy and the price are second to none.

We are already planning our second visit, which will definitely be a longer stay this time as we know how perfect it is. Worth travelling to, highly recommended to anyone who wants something different. if the tree house disappoints you, you have big issues. It wont let you down

we spent the first week of September in cottage 2.Everything was first class.Complimentary wine on arrival. All the little things were seen to.Milk teabags etc in fridge.Lots of information about the surrounding places to see and a helpful guide on where to eat in Skibbereen. Both Peter and Anna were very helpful with anything we required.(e.g. somewhere to store our bikes)and advised us on where to go.My advice to anyone is to either bring bikes or hire them.Great cycling loops. It is the best way to see the countryside.
Well done Peter and Anna.We will definately be returning.

Had a great 3 night stay in lassanroe cottage. The hot tub made it for us and the weather was amazing . The bottle iof bubbly was a nice touch also. House is fab, all you need for a great stay. We would definitely go back but I really would not chance the road up to the house at winter as there are no lights at all !! Having said that we had great food delivered with no problems. Great stay thanks Anna and Peter
