“If walls could talk.........”
Reviewed 24 October 2013 via mobile

What a moving experience. Starting with the heritage exhibition of local people right through the museum, this is the story of the people of Cobh through their links to the sea. We were both impressed with the exhibitions. A little more interaction is needed and less reading. Why not put an audio guide out that you can download to smartphone.

“Time well spent”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

We visited the Cobh heritage Center on a recent trip and were very pleased with the experience; It is actually three museums blended into a very cohesive and informative presentation. The Heritage center weaves the Irish Emigration, Titanic and Lusitania experiences into a informative and moving exhibit that ties them and the seaport together. we spent about two hours and felt it was well worth the time; we learned a lot and grew in our understanding and appreciation of all those involved in these events. If you are in Cobh, this is a place to visit; both children will appreciate and learn here.

“A little disappointed”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

We were told the heritage center was much better than the Titanic Experience, but we found the opposite to be true. The heritage center was a bit boring. The Titanic and Lusitania exhibits were rather small. We had hoped for more.

“Slightly disappointed”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

The heritage center was interesting but I was disappointed in the
way that the Famine ships are represented in the exhibit. It appears that the cabin is spacious and not as though the passengers were at all crowded or poor. Really? The "politically
correct" presentations were also a disappointment. History really should be acccurate. I was also dissappointed that there were no
lists of those who enter the ships at Queenstown. Did the shipping companies not keep any lists?

“Cobh, little but Important”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

I have Irish heritage and learned that my bloodline most likely came to America through the port of Cobh. Very well presented and good info.
