Catherine was so friendly, helpful and accommodating! We absolutely loved this house. The view of the harbor was very pretty. The town of Cobh was beautiful, the locals were so friendly and we really enjoyed the fact that the train station was a 2 minute walk from the house and the Heritage Center was about a 3 minute walk. If you get the chance go the the English Market in Cork. It is a 30-45 minute train ride from the house. The English Market has fresh seafood, poultry and beef. Quite different from US markets. I cannot say enough about Catherine and her hospitality. I hope we can return some day. Ireland is a beautiful country with wonderful views and very friendly people.

Boot Camp. 5:45am. You're 30 seconds into your 5th x 1min plank to finish, you need to give in. Your PT tells you to "go to your happy place..." Up until my stay at Rosenburg Heritage I didn't know what this was. Now I do.
Cobh distills the spirit of Ireland in its Cork Harbour seaside splendour. Picturesque ocean views, a peaceful relaxed pace by day, rowdy pubs filled with the endearing townsfolk by night.
There is no better way to soak in the serenity than at the Rosenburg. Opulent and spacious Victorian rooms, cosy fireplaces, private bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen for your Full Irish Fry Up.
If there's one thing you do in 2016, ensure a trip to Cobh and a stay at the Rosenburg are in your plans. Because if you don't treat yourself, then who will?
We have been travelling for 10 months and have stayed in a different self catering property each week. We have stayed in the good and the not so good - this was definitly one of the good.
What a great way to begin our Irish adventure. We booked two nights but wish we stayed for more. The house was enormous and so spacious. The central heating kept the house lovely and warm - no need for the electric blankets on the bed. The coal fire was a lovely feature.
Our ferry to Dublin was cancelled and as a result we had a late arrival in Cobh. Our Irish Angel Catherine happily met us in town to show us to the house which was greatly appreciated with our arrival in the dark.
Catherine also had a lovely chicken curry waiting for us as well as bread, milk and butter. Perfect as we did not gave a chance to get to the shop and were exhausted from our longer trip.
Cobh is a lovely place to visit and the Rosenburg Heritage is a great place to stay. Don't miss the Heritage Centre - great displays and delicious cafe.
Thank you so much Catherine you are a wonderful ambassador for Cobh and Ireland we loved your help and knowledge of the area.
The home has everything including complete kitchen, washer and dryer, piano, furnishings, ect
Catherine, the host, provides Irish flavor with tales and stories about the Irish way. She even offers to grocery shop for incoming guests.
