My fiance (now husband) rented the house a few days before our wedding in Cobh, and we were so glad we did. The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for all of our guests..the view from the house is also beautiful, as it overlooks the Cobh harbor. It was also the perfect area for me to get dressed for the wedding, and was in an excellent location in relation to the cathedral, as well as the other main sights in Cobh. Catherine was a fantastic host, and she helped us so much prepare for our wedding; she took me to get my nails done, helped arrange the delivery of our cake, and helped to arrange all the details for our reception. We were so impressed with her kindness to total strangers and we fell in love with all the people and the beautiful landscape of Cobh. We would highly recommend the house to anyone staying in Cobh, and we would love to come back and visit!!!
We stayed in this house last summer for 4 days with a bunch of our friends, and all our children. The pictures don't do it Justice. It's over looking Cobh Harbor, the Interior brings you back to Downton Abbey. Very Clean and very spacious. The owner met us with the warmest welcome, Catherine was wonderful. She gave us a full tour, and advised us on where to go in the area. 5 min walk, if even, into the town, full of restaurant's and bars, Catherine even emailed me before our trip, to ask me if we wanted to order a local grocery store delivery to the house upon our arrival. We had 5 small kids under the age of 8, and we had traveled from the midlands of Ireland, our kids were starving, a little truck pulled up with food for our kids. Catherine went out of her way, as did the people of Cobh, to make our stay a wonderful one. We didn't want to leave. 10 plus starts to this rental. We are going to Ireland again this summer, and we planned on going to another County to explore, but we loved Rosenburg so much, we may book again.
What a wonderful house and the views are magic. Only a short walk to great coffee and excellent food. Such a friendly, fun loving towns folk. You must visit this region at least once in your live, so much history.
Catherine was so friendly, helpful and accommodating! We absolutely loved this house. The view of the harbor was very pretty. The town of Cobh was beautiful, the locals were so friendly and we really enjoyed the fact that the train station was a 2 minute walk from the house and the Heritage Center was about a 3 minute walk. If you get the chance go the the English Market in Cork. It is a 30-45 minute train ride from the house. The English Market has fresh seafood, poultry and beef. Quite different from US markets. I cannot say enough about Catherine and her hospitality. I hope we can return some day. Ireland is a beautiful country with wonderful views and very friendly people.

Boot Camp. 5:45am. You're 30 seconds into your 5th x 1min plank to finish, you need to give in. Your PT tells you to "go to your happy place..." Up until my stay at Rosenburg Heritage I didn't know what this was. Now I do.
Cobh distills the spirit of Ireland in its Cork Harbour seaside splendour. Picturesque ocean views, a peaceful relaxed pace by day, rowdy pubs filled with the endearing townsfolk by night.
There is no better way to soak in the serenity than at the Rosenburg. Opulent and spacious Victorian rooms, cosy fireplaces, private bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen for your Full Irish Fry Up.
If there's one thing you do in 2016, ensure a trip to Cobh and a stay at the Rosenburg are in your plans. Because if you don't treat yourself, then who will?
We have been travelling for 10 months and have stayed in a different self catering property each week. We have stayed in the good and the not so good - this was definitly one of the good.
What a great way to begin our Irish adventure. We booked two nights but wish we stayed for more. The house was enormous and so spacious. The central heating kept the house lovely and warm - no need for the electric blankets on the bed. The coal fire was a lovely feature.
Our ferry to Dublin was cancelled and as a result we had a late arrival in Cobh. Our Irish Angel Catherine happily met us in town to show us to the house which was greatly appreciated with our arrival in the dark.
Catherine also had a lovely chicken curry waiting for us as well as bread, milk and butter. Perfect as we did not gave a chance to get to the shop and were exhausted from our longer trip.
Cobh is a lovely place to visit and the Rosenburg Heritage is a great place to stay. Don't miss the Heritage Centre - great displays and delicious cafe.
Thank you so much Catherine you are a wonderful ambassador for Cobh and Ireland we loved your help and knowledge of the area.
