“A Dream of a Retreat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2013

Went here for two nights for a bit of peace and quiet. I was a bit hesitant as dont normally stay in hotels like this one but it from the second I arrvied it was fantastic. You are treated almost like family friends. The welcome is second to none and the room and the view over the water was gorgeous. Breakfast was outstanding and first rate. The room was fantastic. Huge space, bed fantastic. I never heard anything. Great free wifi. Took the deal for early bird menu and like breakfast the food was gorgeous. It was a lovely welcome as even though you have great tea coffee facilities in the room you are can go to the bar and have a cup of tea and coffee and home made scone.

I went by myself but I never once felt a bit akward. Staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. Will definately go back and this time not alone

Room Tip: I was given a room at the back of the hotel with a lovey view of the water.

We stayed in Casey's last weekend and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and very friendly. The room was lovely, spacious and clean and had a beautiful view. The food was great. The hotel is in a stunningly beautiful part of Ireland with lots of fantastic places to visit. I could not fault it in any way. Wonderful.

We had a lovely stay in Casey's of Baltimore this week. This is a very cosy family run hotel. Staff are very warm and welcoming. Dinner couldn't be faulted, everything was done to perfection. Breakfast was something to look forward to. Rooms are spacious and plenty of hot water in Bathroom.

What a warm welcome we received when arriving at Casey's. Our room was not quite ready so we were treated to coffee and cake while we waited for a short while, now that's what I call service! Our room was comfortable and spacious with a great view overlooking the old abandoned church and sea inlet. A good sized bathroom with a tub, what a pleasure to have a long hot soak.

We found all the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. The waitresses at breakfast were well trained in hospitality and clearly enjoyed looking after their guests. The bar staff were also super and seemed to enjoy chatting with the patrons when they had time.

We ate dinner in both the restaurant and in the pub and the food was well prepared and tasty, nothing overly fancy but good local Irish meals.... lovely fish caught locally. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of options including a good selection of fresh fruit. I can recommend the 'Full Irish' which includes both white and black pudding!

One of the things we most enjoyed about Casey's was the pub. It was lovely to spend time with the locals and to enjoy a few jokes and learn more about the area. As they say in this part of the world 'the craic was great!' We wouldn't hesitate to go back to Casey's and we hope we have the opportunity

We have just returned from our second trip to Caseys of Baltimore. Its a lovely cosy hotel and all the staff make you feel welcome there. Our room as last time was very big and had beautiful sea views. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroon was clean and spacious although the hot water supply could have been better. Tea and coffee making facilities were good as were the biscuits they provided. A nice touch was a bottle of their own spring water in the room each day which you could get refilled free of charge at reception. It was lovely but their tap water was also good drinking quality too.We had booked through Lidl so we had the meal deal. Two courses and coffee/tea. They were very good at explaining what we could and could have on the menu and didn't make us feel cheap being on a meal deal. The food was just wonderful and breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Even the weather was good to us. Thanks again Caseys, we will be back sometime.

Room Tip: We had 30 and 31. North facing but lovely sea views

Great little inn with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was incredible -- oven fresh scones with homemade preserves. Farm to table food and I saw the chef picking things out of the garden daily. Pub was relaxing and comfortable but lively. If making another trip to Baltimore, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: I stayed in inn and believe most rooms face bay so therefore very quiet. I was in room #32 and reco...

This was a quaint bed and breakfast we found on the internet and gave it a go. This was a great place to stay and wished we had more time to spend here than we scheduled. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. The room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was included in our rate and they offered a nice spread each morning.

The on site pub offered a nice selection of beers on tap, ciders, and bottled beer. The food was outstanding. We would stay at Casey's again on our next trip.
