Stayed recently at the Hotel for a school reunion. The staff were excellent. Cathal was particularly helpful. Room was definitely 5 star. Food was superb. The golf course is well worth a round. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Our 3 night stay in Castlemartyr turned out to be a fabulous family trip. I booked the lodges over the Mews specifically for the extra space and it proved to be the right decision. The extended family (4 adults and 2 young children ages 2 and 3) had enough room to live and enjoy the space in the 3 bed room lodge without feeling like we were on top of each other. The airy, open plan design ensured the lodge was flood lit with gorgeous natural light.
The accommodation was excellent, clean, bright, spacious and very comfortable. The Wifi in the lodge was the only short coming it was poor but a short walk to the hotel and reception was better.
A welcome hamper on arrival was top quality. So much so, that I've sourced and bought the Maher’s Coffee to bring home! The bread, milk, eggs and the all-important bottle of wine were delightfully received after our car journey!
The concierge service was friendly without being intrusive, it was comforting to know we had a number to call should anything go wrong. The pre-holiday call to ask if I had any further question’s was very welcomed.
The location was stunning and the holiday exceeded my expectations of having a few day’s out of the rat race to reconnect with family. The whole experience was simply idyllic, it was enhanced by glorious sunshine and fine weather! Activitiy wise lots ot do Walks on the grounds, beautiful vista, very comfortable spacious accommodation, something for everyone to do - swimming, cycling, golfing, walking, chilling out with a glass of wine … 10/10 for an wonderful few days.

This is now a sister hotel of the Dromoland Castle. We have stayed there a few times and it is very nice (if a bot expensive). The manager Adrian is hugely attentie, the rooms are fabuous and the spa is very relaxing. There is a nice pool and an excellent childrens area. The golf course is pleasant if not particularly challenging. Overall a perfect place for a getaway for a few days.
