“Beautiful peaceful location”
Reviewed 11 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

I stayed at The Jerpoint Apartment for a weekend visiting friends in Thomastown .Friends had recommended it and it is also came up on google when looking for places to stay in Thomastown.
The apartment itself is modern and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need , fully equipped kitchen , flat screen tv in the living room and a beautiful bathroom and bedroom . You couldn't find fault with it if you tried. The views are stunning and you can sit and watch the horses in the field and enjoy the peace and quiet.
It is a five minute walk from the country Estate Mount Juliet for people who enjoy golf , riding or maybe a meal in one of the restaurants. It is a short walk from the train station and Thomastown itself. The village has pubs, restaurants and many other points of interest.
The owners Michael and Sheila are so friendly and hospitable. They invited me in for coffee and even gave me a lift into Thomastown with my luggage. I would recommend anyone stay here and I am looking forward to returning .

“Tranquil Location – Amazing Views!”
Reviewed 5 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Considering the cost, the views and the location – Michael and Sheila's apartment is a steal! Perfectly positioned between KilKenny and Waterford, this tranquil setting is an Irish dream for anyone traveling through Ireland. Not only is the apartment lovely, but the owners are even more lovely. Sheila was the first to greet us and get us settled in, and then Michael stopped by later on to give us some excellent recommendations for KilKenny. The real charm of this location is not just the horses that roam the land around the apartment – but Thomastown and the nearby Mount Juliet estate! My mother and I stopped by Mount Juliet after a morning in Waterford and were surprised and delighted to find a reasonably priced lunch in the manor house and then we explored the manor's walled garden and grounds after. Like I said - it was like a dream! I STRONGLY recommend this apartment to anyone traveling through Ireland and searching for nice countryside accommodations. You will not be disappointed!

“Highly recommended”
Reviewed 8 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We (two of us) had a very enjoyable stay for a few days. The apartment is on two floors, is modern, and is spacious and well equipped. The weather was kind, and we got out and about each day. Michael and Sheila, the owners, were attentive but not obtrusively so.

A car is essential and for us the convenient highlights were Kilkenny, which is an easy drive from the apartment, and Kells and Jerpoint Priories, along with the impressive Woodstock gardens.

Further afield, the Irish Heritage Centre near Wexford, and the Agricultural museum (no, really!) were well worth visiting.

Finally, the driving was a pleasure. Good roads and sparse traffic. All in all, highly recommended.

So sorry to have missed you but if you are ever over in Ireland again be sure and come past. Sheila has the highest of praise for you as guests. Really I wanted to discuss the benefits and advantages of an old BSA Bantam which I had years ago!! Ml

“Excellent apartment and great value for money”
Reviewed 30 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Jerpoint Apartment is situated on a very large piece of land near Thomastown in County Kilkenny. It is modern, extremely spacious and quite comfortable for two persons. All appliances are modern and seem near new. It has free Wi-Fi internet access and on site parking right by your separate entrance door. Owners Michael and Shiela are most warm, friendly and helpful. In my view Jerpoint Apartment is extremely good value for money.

“Awesome accommodation.”
Reviewed 16 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This amazing apartment exceeded all our expectations. It is really spacious and spotlessly clean plus it is extremely well equipped (washing machine, WIFI, large TV, fully equipped kitchen, undercover off street parking, garden) and a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The apartment was on two levels - the bedroom, bathroom and dining area/kitchen were upstairs and the lounge with TV, laundry and 2nd toilet on the ground floor.

The location is excellent, with the lovely grounds of Mount Juliet on the doorstep and the pleasant village of Thomastown only a few minutes away. Easy access to Kilkenny, Waterford and the surrounding villages. The owner's. Michael & Sheila are 2 of the nicest, friendliest people we have ever met - awesome!!!!
