This is a lovely hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. The food in the Copper Beech restaurant was delicious. My only gripe is, although we kept the windows open constantly, the heat was overpowering. The heater was not on, so we couldn't adjust it. Must be lovely in wintertime! It's nice to get a bath and separate shower cubicle. Good wheelchair access. Will definitely be back!

I stayed here while working in the area on many occasions this summer (2013) and found it to be excellent value. The staff were cheerful and friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, the Wifi was fast and had a excellent signal and the SPA/pool was nice and clean. Having spent a lot of time in various hotels throughout the country, while working, i can safely say that this is a gem!

Thanks to all the staff in the Lady Gregory. We stayed just one night but will stay longer next time. The only negative for us that there was a wedding on and despite being told this we stayed over and got little or no sleep. People requiring Wheelchair access should stay here. The facilities were good and accessible on ground floor and in bedrooms. The staff were 5 Star...plus. Breakfast was great and the staff were amazing as they had the afters of the wedding as well as Clare supporters on their way to Victory in Croke Park .. an d us. So it would be 5 stars if there was no wedding. A mention .. A dark haired Bar man, about 22/23 who despite being run off his feet found time to be friendly and helpful to me and my family. The Dolan Group. 28th September. We will stay again and tell others of this old fashioned service matched to modern systems - go there, you will enjoy it..

Room Tip: ask about weddings - rooms seem good overall but avoid the night of a wedding or function unless you...

Had to make a business trip to Galway for two nights but didn't want to pay Galway hotel prices in August. Decided to stay in Gort and commute. This hotel was an unexpected gem. Got a good price, enjoyed the food. Very friendly staff

While Gort is not on everyone's vacation map, the small town is very relaxing after visiting Ireland's larger cities. There are many pubs to enjoy a pint or two and this hotel is a great place to stay while in the area. The clean and spacious rooms provide a great nights rest.
