“Relaxing Break”

A tranquil spot on the upper Shannon. The house was very spacious & the staff helpful & accommodating. Leitrim village is very quiet but has some great bars, Donellan's - an immaculately kept traditional Irish bar (great Guinness!) & The Barge - great steaks. The boat we had (Justine) took us down to Carrick-on-Shannon, the Boyle river & up through the locks (courtesy of Paddy the lock-keeper) to the beautiful Lough Allen for a spot of fishing. The town of Drumshambo is a few minutes walk from Lough Allen & has plenty of bars & eateries to keep a thirsty fisherman happy!. Thanks to Mike & Ann at the Quay for looking after us on out all too brief stay.

Leitrim Quay is a beautiful quiet place for a holiday. The houses are clean and well kept. I was delighted to find tea and milk and biscuits in the house when we arrived - it's the little details that count! Each house comes with a garden, perfect for lunch outside if you get a good day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Leitrim village is a beautiful little place, with a couple of good pubs for the evening.

Highly recommended, 5 stars!

Just home from another great holiday at Leitrim Quay. An ideal place whether you want to just chill or to partake in the numerous activities around such as riding, golf, paint balling, fishing etc. Houses are clean and comfortable and staff are extremely helpful. If you don't feel like cooking there are plenty of nearby establishments serving delicious food at reasonable prices. Have already booked again for next year

Just returned after another great holiday. Staff friendly and helpful, house comfortable and spotless. Fantastic spot, peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of activities nearby, fishing, golf, paint balling and horse riding. Or just a leisurely trip on the boat provided with the house. Leitrim is serviced by nearby pubs, two of which do food. The meals at the Letrim Inn are superb and great value. Will definitely be returning later in the year. An ideal holiday for all ages.

my parents,my husband and i and our 10month old baby have just returned from a wonderful week in leitrim quay. On arrival we thought the houses were beautiful.3 double bedrooms with plenty of storage space, mirrors and great natural light.big bathroom downstairs also with a bath and electric shower as well as en suite upstairs. Living room has comfortable sofa's and tv,not that you need a tv in such a lovely place. Kitchen had big table and all utensils you would need for cooking. Staff left tea bags milk biscuits etc which was a really nice touch, even left some baby biscuits too.picnic bench with the house also and barbeque if get good weather. The day boat that comes with the house just made our holiday complete. We could all go out cruising the river in the day and stop off in some lovely places for a walk. Discovered lough drumharlow on our last day and its beautiful, highly recommend this stretch of water and turning off the engine and enjoying the silence and views. Michael was great to deal with and gave great advice about the boat and always nearby if we needed anything. A very nice man. And madge who took my booking was great to deal with0also and dealt with anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable so thanks to them for all their hard work. We didn't want to come home and are already trying to find a space when we can all return. Will definitely be back again.
