The thing about Ardagh House is that Billy and Mary always make you feel welcome - as though you were family returning. It's Great value – terrific breakfast – lovely people to deal with – very helpful.

Easily accessible to city centre. Spacious parking at the premise. Comfortable room, quiet considering is on street front. Nice neighbourhood.
Willie and Mary Doyle are such wonderful hosts. Always making sure we are ok, happy.
Beautiful house, huge. Big garden at the back with trees and gorgeous flowers. This place to stay is suitable for all.

Room Tip: If you want total silence, request for garden view room. But honestly, we had street front room, we...

We found this hotel through some recommendations in Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed.
Mary, Willie and the whole staff went out of their way to let our stay be as comfortable and accommodating as possible. At our request we were moved to a big room (No. 3) in the back of the house and facing the large backyard garden.
For our kosher dietary requirement we were provided in the room with a fridge and microwave oven and a dining table. Mary was very kind in contacting the Rabbi to get information what items we can have for breakfast.
We had our rented car that we could park in their premises and the distances to the City Centre is very short (10-15 minutes)
The synagogue is within walking distance for Shabbat services and Mary was kind waiting to open the door for me when I returned.
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Try the Family Room (No. 3). It is a bit more expensive but deffinitely worth it.

My stay at the Ardagh House was a great experience. The whole property was clean and very comfortable with hosts who were only too happy to ensure you had a pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Nice room with ensuite, tea and coffee facilities and TV, beautiful garden and fantastic breakfast. The property is in a good location especially for St Lukes and as a female lone traveller I felt more than safe. The property is located in a nice part of Dublin with a short bus ride into central Dublin...perfect. I would highly recommend this guest house for any one visiting Dublin. Thank-you to Mary, Willy and all the staff at the Ardagh House.

I have stayed in Ardagh many times, and recently delighted to have stayed once again. Ardagh is a gem in this fast paced world where at times one is met with discourtesy and lack of consideration in guest accomodation. Not so in Ardagh!! Hence they have such tremendous loyalty shown to them by their guests. Ardagh is very centrally located to Rathgar and Rathmines. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. You feel you are at home a home whereby the owners really care about their guests. Also I like the sense of security that is shown. But above all it is a very very peaceful house. No running/shouting or talking loudly that sadly I have experienced in other accomodations whilst travelling. Do not misunderstand this does not mean that Ardagh is stuffy in any way just considerate of others. I salute them and have spread the word and will continue to do so. Breakfast is truly scrumptious, with a vast array of juices, cereals, and both hot food and veggie options availalbe. If I had one teeny weeny commet a rather selfish comment would be that check out could be a tad later at w/e's say 11.30. I just hate leaving so an extra hour is bliss!!!! Thank you Ardagh for flying the standard for orthers to follow.

Room Tip: Rooms to the back of the house are preferable but all are very good.

We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The building is lovely and well looked after. There is a large garden. The bus into the centre of Dublin stops nearby. Shops, pubs and cafes in walking distance. Wi fi was useful. The staff are very attentive. We will choose to stay again.
