We chose this place to stay after our arrival at the Dublin airport about 6 a.m. It is about half an hour drive from there. It was an easy walk into town for breakfast that first morning and for two dinners. There is a lovely Cliffs Hike that starts just down the road.

The owners were very helpful, friendly and worked hard to make our stay nice. Very easy walk to town and the Cliffs Hike. Breakfast was very good and the company of the other guests was even better. We liked this place and the people.

My partner and I stayed here when meeting two friends in Dublin for a day trip. We were welcomed by Sean when we first arrived who showed us to our room and gave us keys and maps of the area and gave us directions to the train station. Very homely place with friendly people, lovely quiet location and the breakfast was fantastic. Our friends had a return train ticket from Belfast and were due to get the 8:30 train home, however they wished they had somewhere to stay but all other b&bs and hotels were fully booked due to a concert in the area. There was a spare bed in our room so we phoned Sean and asked by any chance would it be okay if we paid a bit extra for our friends to stay in the room with us. Sean said this was no problem and was very accommodating, couldn't have asked for a nicer host. The breakfast the next morning was great and we even had a visit from their pet seagull (Henry) who gave us all a good laugh by tapping on the window for toast! Lovely place would definitely stay again.

I stayed here recently on a business trip to Dublin. Sean is the perfect host, very friendly and full of information about the local area.

The house is very clean and has a lovely cosy feel to it. My bedroom was very spacious and the bed I slept in was very comfortable. There is also a guest lounge where you can relax and read a book or watch tv.

The house is situated in the perfect location with just a few minutes walk to both the village centre and the beautiful cliff walk.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice of either a cooked breakfast or a continental one. The coffee was excellent and there is plenty of toast and bread to be eaten.

I will definitely be back for future trips to Howth

Thanks again Sean!

This is not a 4/5 star place obviously, but for the price you pay is good, nice people, nice breakfast, good attention, and they give you info about the places you can visit, clean!!! and just 10 walk to the pier. I would recomend it.
