I was taken there for dinner by some locals. We walked passed a number of restaurants, all empty and was pleastly surprised to walk into the crowded Brass Monkey. Clearly the management have got the balance just right, I would call it bisto style. A varied menu of fish, meat and vegetarian available. The service was quick and with a smile. With drinks the bill for 3 came to about £30 per head. Despite being outside Dublin, Howth is easy and quick to get on the Dart. The restaurant is a short walk from Howth station, the end of the line.
