My wife and I both tried the toasted sandwich ( cheese, ham and onion) after our first long day arriving in Ireland. We didn't feel very hungry and that seemed to hit the spot. The bar wasn't busy at the time and we both relaxed with a pint in the big comfy wing back chairs. It was a nice start to our Ireland holiday.

Had lunch here: a variety of toasted & plain sandwiches. My beef choice was excellent & the service was welcoming & attentive. Very reasonable prices too.

Highly recommended.

There are not many choices in town, so we ate here 2 of our 3 nights. The food selection is good, prices are fair, portions are large, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is that of your typically Irish pub. Had the soups both nights and they were outstanding. You cannot go wrong.

As a regular of Faherty's Bar, they do the best toasted sandwich and homemade soup around the area.

You won t leave hungry and they also offer value for money.

On occasion there is seafood chowder on the menu, served with Suzanne's homemade brown bread. I have tasted chowder in many the place but this is the best!

And if you still want dessert after all that, homemade apple pie will leave you well full!

Great place for dinner. lunch or a brew. Soup was good, too. Friends of the folks at the local B&B where we stayed. Locals recommended Faherty's, too.
